Is There Any Way To Retrieve Lost Or Deleted Statuses That You’ve Made In The Past?
Yeah... I was just looking through some of my old statuses that I made back then and I just realized that a lot of them weren’t quite as bad as I initially thought… Originally I had deleted some of them before because I wanted to clear up some space and organize some things quite some time ago, but I’m wondering if it’s possible now to retrieve lost or deleted statuses that you’ve made in the past? Yeah, I know that you can still edit the title of the status regardless, but not anything else beside that…not even can you try and edit any of your posts in that said deleted status either once it's gone.
It’s not a super big deal, but I was just wondering if there was a way to do that.

A Brand New Mega Man Cartoon Is Coming In 2017
Just in time for the character's 30th anniversary, a Mega Man animated series is set to land on TV screens in 2017.
Capcom today announced that a new series is being co-developed by animation companies Dentsu Entertainment USA and Man of Action Entertainment, the outfit behind Cartoon Network's Ben 10 series and recent Academy Award-winning Disney outing Big Hero 6. The series will be 26 episodes long, presumably with more episodes to come if the show finds success.
In a statement accompanying the official release, Man of Action writer Duncan Rouleau stated that working on a new Mega Man series would be exciting.
"The 1990s Mega Man TV series was cool and different than other series targeted at kids during that time," he said. "Mega Man is a character that is even more relevant for today’s kids, and we are really looking forward to creating something new that still respects the long tradition of the character."
It's an interesting time for Capcom's flagship character, and his return to the small screen is welcome if somewhat curious. Despite the Blue Bomber's more recent appearances in the Super Smash Bros. franchise, his own series hasn't seen an official entry in years, and his creator, Keiji Inafune, is preparing to launch a whole new series without him. Meanwhile, the character's Archie comic series sells decently, but is far from a chart-topper. Maybe Mega Man is due for a return to the spotlight.

Oh man – this is freakin’ awesome! I love the original Mega Man cartoon when it was on back then when I was a kid; it probably was one of the best video game cartoons I’ve ever seen other than Sonic Satam and Pokemon. I mean, even today, despite the show being a bit cheesy in some spots, the show actually still holds up pretty well in my opinion and I occasionally watch the odd episode here or there. It’s nice to see (and a bit surprising, to say the least) that they’re going to make another Mega Man cartoon despite what’s been happening with Mega Man and Capcom as of late. But hey, we’ll take anything at this point! :D
The Creator Of Fire Emblem Is Making A New Game Using…SRPG Maker!?!?!?
The creator of the original Fire Emblem on the Famicom, Shouzou Kata, recently announced on his blog that he's working on a new game, using SapphireSoft's SRPG Maker (the strategy-RPG equivalent of RPG Maker). With a small development team (currently about ten people) and the tools available in the SRPG Maker software, Kaga is currently looking for help with sprites and battle animations, which he mentions in his blog post.
"This might be a bit sudden, but I decided to start making a doujin game with some friends, hahaha."
"We’ll use the recently released doujin soft SRPG Studio (© SapphireSoft), and once it’s done we’ll distribute the game for free."
"Our staff – myself included – has limited time to work on this, so we have no idea of when we’re going to finish this. Should we finish, I’ll post about it in this blog. Please look forward to it if you like retro games (though it’ll be hard to get it done if we don’t get the materials ^^;)."

…Does this mean that one day we might see somebody like Hironobu Sakaguchi make a new game using something like OHRRPGCE or Adventure Game Studio? Either way, this is some pretty interesting news…assuming that he manages to finish the project, that this.
And apparently they’re looking for somebody with some spriting experience as well to help them out. (Luchino, get on this! This is your big chance!)
[Poll] So What’s Up With These New 2k3 Icons
Yeah, so what’s up with that? Is it something that I don’t know that I should know?
>
So we went from this badass, yet classically familiar stable of a chess piece to an…egg??? (What the…?)
>
- But that’s not all, as the 32x32 icon has been upgraded from the original, timeless classic to a kickass, custom stone dragon! (Now this I like!)
But what’s the dealio with this? None of the other engine icons have been changed as far as I know of, and even 2k still has its original icons intact - so what’s going on here? Is there another version of Rm2k3 that I don’t know of as of yet and that version uses different icons and we’re suddenly going to go with that? Are these just temporary for a while or are they here to stay? If they are, at least let us vote on the matter. (I kinda like my little horse.)

NHL 2015 Stanley Cup Playoffs / Pool Prediction Thread
After a long, grueling 82 game NHL season has finally come to a close, the beginning of hockey’s second season can finally begin: The Stanley Cup Playoffs!
16 teams will battle in 4 different rounds until only one can remain standing and hoist the coveted cup – but who will it be???
Will it be one of the heavy favorites from the regular season this year, like Anaheim, Chicago or the New York Rangers? Or will it be one of the underdogs, like Minnesota or the Nashville Predators that will come out of nowhere to take it this year? Or perhaps one of the Canadian teams, like the Winnipeg Jets or the Montreal Canadians might finally bring the cup back to Canada after 22 long years?
Along with participating in the ongoing discussions throughout the entire Stanley Cup Playoffs in this thread, we will also be having a playoff prediction pool for the ultimate bragging rights here on RMN!
- Let the quest for the cup begin!!!
How To Play:
Basically all you have to do is pick the winner of each series above and how many games that each series will go for all the way to the Stanley Cup Finals and who you think will ultimately win the Stanley Cup.
For each correct guess that you make, you will receive 2 points! And if you manage to also predict how many games that particular series will go – you’ll get an extra point! At the end of the playoffs, the person with the most points is the winner of the pool.

Places From Your Childhood That You Miss The Most
- You all remember jumping into a pool of these, right?
Being a kid back then sure was the sweet life, wasn’t it? No rules, no worrying about the bills being payed on time, no relationship problems, no having to deal with the sudden stress of work… Everything was just totally peachy-keen back then! And I’m pretty sure you all have such wonderful memories of those care-free days that you often think about from time to time… I mean – who doesn’t? Getting old sucks!
But what about those wonderful, kick-ass places that you went to as a kid that your parents, or your best friends’ parents, took you to? What about all those wonderful, childhood locations that you remember? What, and where, exactly were they? What exactly do you remember the most about them – and are they still around today? Well, that’s what the purpose of this thread is for, to share those wonderful places that you once remember with everyone else.
One place that I remember quite fondly, which is exactly still around today, is a place called Crash Crawley’s in Coquitlam, which had a huuuuuugggge ballroom / playarea that had all these different types of winding paths, slides, ropes that you could hang on and glide around and the works. It was a freakin’ maze to explore, but fun as hell, especially if you’re playing hide-and-seek with a bunch of other kids. The food was also pretty great there too, and it was the very first place that I ever went to play laser-tag! I thought it was the coolest thing ever! It’s just too bad that it’s not as frequent around here than it used to be.
Another place I also remember was an old pizza restaurant and local arcade just a couple of blocks from my house called Michael’s Pizzeria. This was the sort of the family, pizza restaurant that you always longed to visit again. This place had T.V.’s everywhere that you could watch pretty much every sports game on, pretty damn good, delicious pizza with a wild variety of a section of different beers and pop, and an arcade in the corner for all the kiddies to play! This place was awesome back then! Some of the arcade games that I remember the most while playing there were Wonder Boy, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Arcade Game, Terminator 2: Judgement Day, Golden Axe – and among many more. The owner, unfortunately, sold the building space many, many years ago and moved it a couple of blocks down the road. It actually still kind of exists today in theory, as we do order out from there once and a while, but it’s a shadow of its former self, as it mostly focuses on pizza deliveries and indoor lunch specials. The arcade portion is, unfortunately, lost to time... Now the old area where it used to be located has now turned into another Starbucks. (F***…)
And the last place I remember used to be something at the P.N.E called the Nintendo Tent, where they would showcase all the cool, new upcoming games for everybody there to try, and even hold contests and events over there for prizes! This was the very first time I ever entered a competition with other kids in Mario Kart 64 and Super Smash Bros. Melee. I didn’t win – but I actually made it pretty far, all the way to the quarter-finals in both events. There was even one year where the Nintendo Tent became the Playstation Tent and this was the very first time I laid my eyes on one of my favorite RPG’s ever still to this day – and which eventually through a string of events led me to RPG Maker itself – Star Ocean: The Second Story. I still remember playing that for almost an hour in the tent, just absolutely blowing my mind…. Unfortunately, as of around 2007, the Nintendo Tent / Playstation Tent was no more at the P.N.E.. And now it’s just a mobile service tent for people to get their grubby, little hands on a brand new cellphone. Damn…
- So what places from your childhood do you guys remember?
[Poll] Super Bowl XLIX
University of Phoenix Stadium, Glendale, Arizona
Sunday, February 1, 3:30 PM
New England Patriots (14-4) V.S. Seattle Seahawks (14-4)
I’m surprised that nobody’s made a topic about this yet, considering it’s one of the biggest sporting events of the year. Well – it looks like it’s up to me, RMN’s resident sportsguy, to finally get the ball rolling.
So this year’s matchup is the New England Patriots, fresh off their somewhat conversational victory involving some sort of a deflategate thing in the AFC Championship game over the Indianapolis Colts verses the defending Super Bowl champions from last year and had to, quite literally, pull off a miracle comeback to beat the Green Bay Packers to get here again, the Seattle Seahawks. Both teams sport fantastic quarterbacks, deceptive coaches, and their fair share of talkative superstars. Does Tom Brady and co. have enough of what it takes to win that elusive fourth Superbowl championship and the first one since 2005? Or can the Seattle Seahawks continue to do the impossible and win back-to-back championships for the first time in their history.
Now originally if Green Bay managed to hold on that last game and managed to defeat Seattle to get to the Superbowl to face off against the Patriots, I really would have had no interest in watching it this year, considering I don’t like either team. But now that Seattle has pulled off the impossible, it’s become something to watch again.
I’m voting for Seattle in this one and I’m predicting a 37-23 final score, although I’m completely unentirely sure about this one. I dunno, there’s something in my back of mind that says this could get reaaaaaal interesting – but who knows! I know my brother’s a Patriots fan and he would love to rub it in all of our faces if they managed to win. I don’t why he's voting for them in this kind of situation this year, considering that Seattle is the closest NFL team next to Vancouver, but I guess he's gotta stick with his picks.
Anyways, will you be watching the big game this Sunday? Who do you think’s gonna win and are any of you going to any Superbowl parties like I am this weekend? If not - how come? Are you just not interested in it this year, or are you busy doing something else that weekend, like working, and what not.
Either way, make those predictions and tell me a good place to pick up some cheap chips and dip. (I'm on a tight budget.)
What’s Your RMN New Year’s Resolutions For 2015
I know that Christmas has just recently passed and that most of you are either, A, still hung over from the night before, B, still playing games from the night before or, C, trying to work on something from the night before, but I thought that it would be pretty interesting, and secretly informative to some, to share some of your new year’s resolutions with the gang…RMN new year’s resolutions, that is.
So what are your plans for this place in 2015? Are you planning on submitting a game that you’ve been working on for the past year / couple of years and are finally ready to unveil it for all the world to see, finally? Or do you have another game that you’re planning on working on and maybe even sharing sometime in the future? Or, instead of game making, are you planning on doing something else entirely, like writing reviews, do some Let’s Plays, maybe even writing an article or two, or join in on one of the many future contest events and get yourself some more achievements and some makerscore? It’s all for the benefit for your self-esteem.
I’ll start with myself:
Last year was pretty good, I manage to go up from being in the 2k makerscore mark to the upper 3k makerscore mark, which I still can’t believe I’m even in. I also ended up picking up way more achievements than I did in 2013 - and even did pretty well overall in two of the past contest events that we had. Plus the good thing is that I didn’t have to judge any of them (hardy, hardy, har).
Also, top 10 in reviews isn’t too bad either. :)
Next year I’m hoping for bigger and better things. I’m hoping to finally submit a particular game that I’ve been fixing for a while that I think you guys might know what it is *wink* *wink*, and Brian Okam’s Free Throw Challenge, which I’ve worked on a bit sparingly throughout.
I also would love to get to the 50 review mark, try to get into the 5k makerscore mark, do some more articles, and maybe even write a tutorial or two on something 2k3 related.

Square-Enix Decides To Give All Of Its Fans The Middle Finger By Re-Releasing The PC Port Of FF7 For The PS4
"Over the weekend, Square Enix announced that Final Fantasy VII was coming to the PlayStation 4. It's not a remake, but the PC version. Did the internet have anything to say about that? You betcha.
Final Fantasy VII launched on the original PlayStation way back in 1997. For years, gamers have been asking for a remake. In fact, the game is the most wanted PlayStation 4 remake in Japan.
Folks aren't exactly thrilled by the announcement! As of posting, the official trailer has over 13,000 dislikes on YouTube and 2,000 likes.
Source: http://kotaku.com/the-internet-reacts-to-final-fantasy-vii-on-ps4-1668134367
So, lemme get this straight… You have a game that everybody wants to be remade, a game that people will just literally throw their entire wallets at, buy an entire console, just for that, and people have been waiting for over 17 years – 17 years – for even the brief glimmer of hope of one day seeing this beloved classic get the official greenlight for a remake with shiny new HD graphics, fully voice acted cutscenes, brand new summons and materia, among other things, and you don’t even have to change anything else other than just the visuals and a few minor things and people will go off in droves to go buy it…
And then you decide to pull this stupid stunt, by making a big scene like this and tease everybody in that audience room and across the entire world by giving them the impression that “OMG, IT’S GUNNA F**KING HAPPEN, GUYS” and then turn around, all smug and just re-release the same game over again and repackage it for another $50!? F*** you, Square-Enix! This is the final straw.
I’m sorry, and I’m surprised that nobody has made a topic about this, but this latest dick move (although mildly amusing) by Square-Enix pretty much has not only sealed the chances of getting an actual FF7 remake anytime soon, but it’s also officially for this fan here saying “good riddance” to this monkey-crock of a gaming corporation.
No seriously – I’m f***king p*ssed off, and all of you should be too. What kind of business sense does doing something like this make, coming out like this, all swag and stuff, and then showing a trailer like that, pissing off most of your entire fan base? It's like what you shouldn't do, business sense 101. If I was in that audience, I’d be screaming profanities like I was at a Canucks playoff game.
I don’t understand it… These guys can make an absolute killing if they ever decided to officially remake this game, even doing something like with what FF4 did like a doing mini-collection of all the games and re-packaging them together with the remake and the classic included, sell it for $150 – and people would still go out and buy it. It basically prints money and now is the time! Younger audiences today don’t give two shits about FF7 anymore. And with this latest stunt, long-time fans may not care much about it either anymore.
F*** you, Square-Enix. You have officially lost my respect. I couldn’t even care less about what they do now.
I’ll always remember the classics though…when you used to give a shit...
Amiibos
So now that the newest iterations of the Smash Bros. are finally here (well, in some areas at least, lol), I was wondering if any of you guys are going to be picking up any of these strange-looking Amiibo thingys to either help fight alongside you against your friends and / or loved ones, as you both mercilessly beat the ever-loving crap out of each other, use it as a training dummy, or just buy one for the novelty of having your favorite Nintendo and / or non-favorite Nintendo characters just stare at you relentlessly from across the room while you’re either watching T.V. or by betraying them almost entirely by playing something else that this isn’t from their own games (you sick ba*tard).
I’m not picking up the Wii U version (and a Wii U as well) until the day of my official birthday, which is on the 29th, as we want to sit down as a family and play it together. Yep, that’s right: My parents and I and my little brother are going to go full out on each other, no holds bar.
Since they cost around $10 each (well, up here in my neck of the woods, at least) and they’re extremely cheap, I said I’ll be picking up one Amiibo for each of us while any others they have to go purchase or pay for out of their own pocket.
So, with that said, my little brother wants a Marth one and he’s giving me some extra money for a Fox one, which is his primary, and really, only main. Really, ever since the original game, the man only wants to use Fox. He decided on Marth as well because he did admit that he used him a few times and thought he was pretty good, so he’s getting a Marth one along with a Fox one.
My dad only wants a Link one, that’s it. He’s a big Legend Of Zelda fan and has collected some toys from the past, so all he really wants is a Link one. He’s been playing around with Kirby lately on Brawl these past couple of months, so he plans on using him and his Link Amiibo againist all of us in the 8 player Smash.
My mom’s still deciding on between Duck Hunt or the Wii Fit Trainer. She doesn’t play a lot of games, but she has played Duck Hunt in the past and used the Wii Fit once and a while besides playing Smash with us, so she’s not entirely sure (although I'll probably just buy her both).
As for me, I’m going to get a Dr. Mario one and call it “Dr. Cheeks,” a Mega Man one, and then probably a Ness and a Little Mac one for novelty purposes. (Hmm…but that Ike one up there looks pretty good too…)
- So what Amiibo’s are you guys going to get?
