I'm Ben_Random. I've been around since 2008 but I didn't really get active here since Super RMN Bros. 2. That, an unfinished game, and a couple of contests sums up what I've done with game making on this site. I find that my main purpose here is writing. I have a few tutorials out there, as well as some reviews on Mario fan games such as RMN Bros. or Mario V.S. the Moon Base.
Now with the internet the way it is these days, you can probably use just this information to stalk me.

My game is not ready yet, but when it is I will notify you. It is a fan game, but I think everyone has played Pac-Man.

Forgot to mention that I started playing trumbone in august. I am still a beginner but I enjoy playing. Currently I am trying to play Raiders March by John Williams. (The Indiana Jones theme)

I for one, don't spend all my time RPGmakering and Marioing. I enjoy preforming card tricks on my friends, seeing there baffled faces, telling them I learned it from a $50 book, and then finding another one on youtube.
Super RMN Bros. 2

If anyone would like me to add their level to my version of Super RMN Bros 2, tell me where to pick up your level. Send me a message or something otherwise you can keep wondering why you're not in my previews :-)
I think the first draft of my version will be done by the end of today, but I'd like to play it through all the way before I post it. Unfortunately, when crafting a world and playing it at the same time, several paths get messed up.
For the second draft, I would like to incorporate my ice level. I have a question though. How does one break a frozen coin, and what are frozen muncher plants?

It didn't suck. It was still better than a lot of levels with Super RMN Bros 1. It was always playable. I just changed some tiles around.
Hey Ben... psst... When you have time, I want you to make me an ice level. In this ice level it should have:
- Slick ground & platforms
- Ice blocks
- Frozen Coins / Frozen muncher plants
- Fire plants
- A blue Yoshi
- A secret Room that you enter with a pipe
- 5 dragon coins
- Fire flowers & ice flowers, but no leaves
- Must be 6 screens long.
- Boss fight with Birdo at the end
Go make it. You will have fun :-)

I am now reading the Rangers Apprentice series by John Flanagan. The game would be great for an RPG. I wonder if it's legal to make a fan-game off a book as long as you don't sell it?

This is me doing my own thing. There aren't that many levels greatly edited. Most of the edits are for people that only have mushrooms coming out of blocks. I did edit Bowser's Desert and Checkpoint Graveyard, but I put the graveyard back to what it was. I had changed it originally because it was dull and vacant especially if its your 2nd time playing. Some backgrounds I changed to fit the land that they are in.
Because it SUCKED. The level was originally terrible, but somehow, shortstar and his ninja awesome mario skills made it actually playable.
