RMN Plays: Final Fantasy Tactics Advance!
When's the next Befuddle Quest? If needed, I can help with organizing. This world always needs more puzzles.
author=kentona
Well I could always use more makerscore. Befuddle Quest 7: Advent Children confirmed.
I said it was confirmed.
starting to get back in to unity
Unity of soul and body, I guess. Listen to some inspiring music while on it.
RMN Review Club
Gentlemen,
I'm sitting on my sofa with Window magnificent in front of me and my Ullman Cigar in my pocket. Being proud of my membership in this society, I've been reading through descriptions of these gems of gamegraphy. And what is my conclusion?
Game Master is a silly naming of gentleman's game. However by the look of it, Game Master: The Game is by far the most interesting option. My vote is casted, dear fellow reviewers.

there was no Quake or Doom... there was only UNREAL!
Tournament is like the best fps ever. And original Unreal engine still rocks. And Arena sucks.
And Feel free to comment on Unity in highlighted thread.

[Poll] Game Maker or Construct 2 or...
Both of you got the truth. Of course I want to be renowned for my fabulous game design. And it's better to use Windows cuz it can run RM games. I'm open. Libertarian. I would have put Unity amongst others in this poll, If I had been against its use.
And right now the only reason you gave me is that it is superior, Sail
I know Slash uses it for simple clever games. My question is, Isn't a bit of waste to use such a powerhouse for such a semi-simple thing like our metroidvania is gonna be? Does it have any benefit to use it for simple 2d concepts?
They are silly questions, but i want to know your opinion. For me making simple game in Unite would be preparation for something more complex.
And don't take me too serious if i sound so. I write rather bullsith sometimes (always).

Nice,
XP's chipsets simply have something to them.
This is my second and final attempt. I believe, that its slightly better than previous one. Chipset is courtesy of Tau (Tau's link).

[Poll] Using Chiptunes, 8bit or 16bit Music in New RPGs
author=IsrieriWell said, indeed.
You know what, this is a damn good question. I guess it really just depends upon preferences: You're going to have people who like it and some people who don't. I know I'm of the type that loves chiptune music and you can throw it in anything and it will make things awesome. Its just an instrument like any other. The music you create with it is only as good as your skill with it, though. And you can easily botch it if you try to create something that 8bit can't 'handle.' Big old Hollywood movie scores are probably not in the cards, for instance; but you could do that with 16 bit sound, maybe.
In the interest of science, here are some variations on the stage 1 theme from Truxton:
Truxton - Mega Drive
Truxton - 8bit Remix
Truxton - Turbografix
Which do you find yourself liking more?
But I want classic holly productions with 8-bit soundtrack. 1966 Batman with Jasper's Kyd soundtrack would be rad. Or Cito Kane with Zillion's score. Birth of the nation accompanied by Atari 2600.
Turbografix cuz its Turbografix. However 8-bit version is more of the balsam to my ears.
Edit: Oh, I'm so giong to watch Birth of The Nation with Atari music. I have one question myself too. Do you know and can recommend some chippy country, folk or surf ruck?
