Whatchu Workin' On? Tell us!
I'm slowly returning to Mace Blue: Chapter Three. I learned a lot about working with attributes and states thanks to my collaboration with Joseph and I gonna change my battle system from simple immortality/dead contrast to something more complex.
Also I'm remaking part of the graphical resources. Tiles are staying as they are, at least in terms of resolution.
What I decided on is to enlarge character sprites. The former design is in the upper row. It is 4 on 4 pixels.
I made several larger designs to choose from. I can't decide which one is the best. The one using 6x8 pixels is cool-looking, but it would require complete change of half of the maps.
What is your opinion? Do you have any better suggestions on design under 8x8 px?

Gonna finish two more avarege games and then I wanna release something HIGH RATED.
It's gonna be Twin Peaks meets The Last Picture Show meets Neil Young's second solo album. With custom graphics and story based upon this song:
I'm writting a Novel
Indeed it is. I am supposed to write a review on it.
It's not really a novel. It's screenplay and scola stuff, so its Czech.

And so Yuna21 becomes Luchino. XD

I may be. Checked on it and it looks pretty interesting. I don't own any books of any edition, tho.
Edit: Do ya have any experience with Hillfolk? It does look damn interesting.

The Featured Game Thread
author=Libertyauthor=Cap_HNot... really? That's not the aim of the feature game. There are games that have been added in the past that I know others (and myself) haven't been able to play. Feature is given to a great game of high quality that is complete and deserves attention.
I had problems to get Divergence run. It's normal user's problem, but aim of the feature is normal user, isn't he?
On the other hand, Disparity's banner would look better.
Frankly, Divergence deserves attention. It's a great game. It has lovely graphics. It has very interesting game play. It has great music. It is completed. It has an interesting story (even if it is small) and tells it well, with good writing. It's fresh. It does something new and interesting when it comes to gameplay and it's well deserving of more attention.
Then I'm with you, for the reasons you stated.
(and with Disparity, I meant Divergence all the way)

Oh, this is exactly the thread I'm looking for. I've never played any RPG, but I and my friendo, We want to make a group, but we can't decide which game to play. He wanted to play either FATE with his own setting or Dragon's Nest 2 (Czech variant on D&D).
My intentions were different. I wanted to try some awesomeness of premade setting or something less popular. My tips were:
-Dragon Age (Cuz I'm big fan of the franchise)
-Warrior, Rogue and Mage
-RuneQuest
So, I'm glad to see this, so I can learn something.
