Whoa, It's cool to see Marrend keeping this active with barely any reactions. I probably will go through all notable games tomorrow, but I wouldn't mind some more specific recommendations for games. So, what's the hotness around here these days?
Turn based cinematography
I think the problem of having epic shots in a turn-based game is that it gets old rather quick. In XCOM it only works sometimes, when something cool happens like an enemy shooting at you an missing you.

It's a sign of how people interact with the site, I guess. Page 1000 of this thread was in 2015. A Golden Week of RPG Maker 2003 was ending, and maybe a month before celebrating the site's 8th birthday. Putting that into perspective, the site celebrated it's 15th birthday this year.
In 2015 I thought I would make a good RM game one day. It was a fine year.
2022 Gaming Diary
I haven't played any video games, but I got myself into Board Game Arena last month and played a bunch of games there. I might bother you to play with me on Discord later. I also think I'll make a more comprehensive post soon as they still are digital games and they will get featured on my end of the year list at my blog.

I haven't been around for a while, but I've just (finally) finished my thesis, so I should have time to do a drawing or something for someone nice.
I don't want you to look at my games at all. I would prefer a generic gift or a cool (not cute, not anime) avatar.

A solid plan. Kids get addicted to gammak all the time.
It's 2022 and people are still surprised about the limitations and poor design decisions of a custom built website from like 2009 that hasn't been meaningfully updated since about 2014. Of course I didn't validate the character limits of the statuses...

2022 Gaming Diary
A quick update from me. Duolingo is the only game I've been playing and I haven't played any proper game for months. I don't really feel a need. My only concern in this regard is that I will not be able to make my end of the year list and that I completely stopped following new and upcoming releases. On the other hand I have more time to concern myself with other stuff.
