What are good game engines for making a Card Game?
I recommend trying some simple card games at itch.io, which don't require an AI. My favourite is Patient Rogue. In my opinion it's an easier task to make a game like this with your resources and you might even create something more original than a card battler. There are so many ways for cards to work in a card game.
I would also second a notion to make a physical prototype first. It will look great in devlogs too.

Looks like an obstacle course.
It has been an active start of the year for me, but i can't say it has been equally satisfying. Also, yeah, global events and one event in particular suck.

2022 Gaming Diary
I haven't been around for a while, but I haven't played anything for at least a month. I've been thinking about playing more Tropico soon.

2022 Gaming Diary
Ok,
over the last few years my gaming habits and taste have been changing. I mostly stopped posting at my gaming blog (pixelrender) and I overall spend less time on games. I'm as eager to play new and interesting things and I play games to relax after time spent at work or with intensive social interactions. I guess I'm becoming adult. It's not super relevant, but I also almost stopped playing mafia.
My laptop is in a bad state too. It has a dead battery for some time now and It affects performance. 2022 won't be a year in which I get a new machine, one more suitable for gaming. If anything, It might be a year in which I get even more alternative and either spend some time without a computer or with an ARM board as my main machine. This is only important because I decided to stop playing games, which barely run on my lappy.
Finally, I made a decision. I'm not spending any money on games this year. I have a huge backlog at Steam and there are many great free games getting released all the time.
Still, I have a bucket list of games to play:

Disrupted Monarchs

We Met in May
Quadrilateral Cowboy (I would like to finish it)

A new year is already in progress and I need a place to keep a track of games I've been playing. Also, I want to boast about some hidden gems. Marrend plays Heroes of Might and Magic 3 Complete!
Ofc, Marrend's way of playing Heroes is difficult to grasp for most people. For me enjoyment comes from tight battles and good tactical decisions. For You it comes from deep understanding of mechanics of the game and altering them... or at least I think so.
