A new Merlandese game!!!~ When might one know more?

YESSSSS. Also WTF Hasvers is still around? Hi Hasvers!

Indeed, I already knew from previous games that I very much enjoyed the stories you told, but it was how well the gameplay supported the story that truly surprised me. I’m happy that it won these awards, and that having unity win GOTY made the sting of this losing a little easier to take. Weird & Unfortunate truly is a fantastic game as well, from what admittedly little I’ve played of it (1 hour).

My reason for not voting in the event category is because every gamepage I went to go nominate for various awards, I had to think and say “nope, It’s not an event game”. Then by the end of it, I think it was the only category where I hadn’t nominated something. I never went to intentionally find event games. I usually pick my favourite games of the year, and then nominate from there. I’d like to nominate an event game this year, though! It just didn’t turn out that way. Unfortunately I hadn’t watched any Liberty streams so I didn’t really know many event games. And also I guess last year I didn’t play many games at all due to not having a Windows PC. But this year I’m going to be playing a lot of games, and streaming and maybe even reviewing them. I’m going to be doing a lot more of it. Then try to put these VODs in places that will promote these games.

So yeah, I hope that this coming year we can figure out how to promote this more. I can try helping, since this year I plan to make RPG Making my focus! Last year it definitely wasn’t. Review drives sound like an incredible idea. Love you all.

Just a reminder for NOMINATIONS is what's needed not really a year wide campaign for advertising the misaos.

Well sure, nominations are important. But you can only nominate if you’ve played! I think it’s also a “playing the games” push that’s needed too, like, encouraging probably the sharing of opinions about games, reviews, let’s plays, etc. I’m only just getting into that now but I think providing visibility, sharing opinions, recording videos, writing reviews, and so on.

So in short, more review and nomination events, yes pls Lib. Fantastic idea. (I’ll try not to be an empty promiser this year)
