Putting a lil bridge there.

I'm reworking the Mining/Harvesting system for my game Eden Gate. I am making the system real-time where before it was menu based. So I have 2 pictures here side by side. The only difference is in the indicator which lets the player know where they can mine for example. So I want to know which indicator you guys think looks better?
I think the first is a bit brighter and more noticeable, but that might just be me. Both look excellent however, and I'd certainly notice both if I was looking for spots to mine!

I submitted my challenge via PM, but god, I wish I'd just done a proper story. XD I hope people are allowed to see what I was actually faced with when it's presented, because.. there are no other logical reasons for why that story came out like it did.

What are you thinking about right now?
I don't think anyone I knew had a pencilcase in the last few years of school. They were considered pretty geeky or got torn to pieces. Or the former shortly followed by the latter.
When we had visits from a German-assistant-lady, she was like 23 and had her own pencilcase and everything was always neatly organised. She was so adorable. XD Sigh.. we had good times talking about how awesome Pokemon was instead of doing actual work.

Do what I do: take stationery from school. See that pen? It's yours! Oh, someone left a stapler here.. miiiine.. And what's this? A pair of safety scissors just LYING there with no one around?! Well, I shouldn't but.. okay!

Pick who you work with wisely. Only give your work and effort to those you think will deliver the best game at the end. Would be a shame to have such great music/voice acting in a game which turns out to be sub par, right?

The Imperial Scrolls of Philosophy
I used to seriously hate being alive as a child, so it stands to reason that I quite enjoy it now. Perhaps just because I went through everything I went through, and at the other end I don't have anything to do other than be happy for the fact I lived. It stopped making sense to be upset all the time, so I manned up and just decided to be happy instead.
Life's pretty coo'.. I mean, it's something to do and beats being dead. I'm hardly an optimist, but I'm just grateful I got a chance to see some of the world. And who wants to be an angsty little 6-year-old anyway? Sure, I still get the occasional urge to kill people for no apparent reason, but I've come to enjoy that too!

A train ticket to Glasgow would cost £80 and take 7 hours.. o_o I think I can wait until a DVD release or something..
What is your biggest question in life?
Maybe I'm just very arrogant, and see myself as being the most interesting person I know.. :P That could be chalked up to me being me, and I know everything about me so of course I think I'm interesting. But a lot of things do happen to me, and people just seem weirdly attracted to me. In school, I started to get really annoyed at my friends crowding around me to chat, so I'd move away. Slowly but surely, they somehow ended up back around me again.. sometimes not even slowly. o_o I've always thought of myself as the "leader" of every friendship group, too. I'm always designated to be the one who goes and does the stuff, you know? Without me, it felt like they'd all just fall apart and never talk to each other again.
In the rest of school, I'd be the "main character" of the class too, always being made to answer questions or go out of the room to get something from another room.. or make displays in the hallway.. or stand up and do impromptu demonstrations.. Just everyone gave me this vibe that I was the centre of it all (not in an egotistical way.. well okay, maybe a little). Perhaps I'm just very immodest or have something wrong with my brain that makes me think everyone is looking at/talking about me. Maybe I have Schizophrenia or something..
In my experience, celebrities aren't really followed much other than who they're bangin' or whatever. I don't think 'sex' counts as a main questline. XD
I think any thread which allows us all to ask questions about life is gonna turn to philosophy eventually. I'm just so very happy I was part of that downfall!

Are celebs/famous people the 'real' main characters? This made me remember what Cetsa said - If you don't make a name of yourself in the way, how would people know you exist? (paraphrased cuz I can't remember the whole thing >.>)
