Think of it this way: if you watch it now, you can quickly change any faults with the game before someone else plays and LT's it and puts you through being nervous again!

If you want to change a character >> Set move Route > Change Graphic.
I think this will change the actor graphic back after you leave the map. Great for cutscenes and temporary things, but this will change the graphic permanently:

I think I see what you mean. Part of that is his eyelid, but looking at it now kinda makes it look like some terrible, OTT anime o_< face. I'll try shaving that down a little bit..

I've tried parallaxing more recently and it's a hell of a lot better looking, so thank you for the suggestion. For an update on the custom tileset, you can check out the latest image for the game.

Both. XD The tileset is a definite improvement, but I'll admit that the character picture is just a step sideways. Once I get a bit better at drawing, I'll improve him too!

Thank you! In my downtime, I decided the original graphics were just plain terrible and overhauled them entirely. That map is just a test for parallaxing (which I've never done before), so it won't actually feature in-game. :P
Delaying text in XP.
You're right, I vaguely remember being able to colour the text, but I definitely don't remember any of the speed/delay commands. The lack of text options was one of the reasons I stopped using XP, but I definitely remember there being scripts for it. I've tried Googling for them, but it's actually trickier than it sounds.. a lot of the old links for the script have died.

I was always under the impression they had been removed, but you could get scripts to colour text, etc.
