where will you be going when rmn shuts down?
Yeah I apologize for Strangeluv posting about MD everywhere, she is just...very enthusiastic. It started as a place for a particular group of friends (which is more diverse and serious than some people here may realize) to display their creative endeavors. It wasn't intended to be a place to 'funnel' RMN members to because it was created over a month ago. WIP actually bought the domain name and helped fix up Ghost's CSS and stuff.
There seem to be some misconceptions about it, but anyone is welcome to come and post on the forums there. It's not some elitist club designed for the coolest possible internet humans, although front page content does have a certain quality threshold. The purpose was originally just to get a cycle of inspiration and enthusiasm for game making going, but if RMN goes down we'd like there to be a place that still maintains the RM spirit stretching all the way back to Lord Don Miguel, somewhere that this particular continuity of game making can still keep together in some way or another.
