To reiterate my point Bin Laden's deaths means nothing more than a jump in the sales of "Yes We Can" T-shirts.
It also means justice and retribution for thousands upon thousands of families whose lives have been crushed by this man's actions at long last. Don't think that because you weren't personally affected that it doesn't matter.
A purely symbolic gesture with no real meaning.

What would be real retribution and justice if the government came about the 9/11
commission report which has more holes in it than a block of swiss cheese caught in a drive by.

The planes fire melting the support beams even though jet fuel does not burn nearly high enough to ever melt those structures, how they downplay the money angle, when you must consider that the money is probably the most important part.
Saying whoever bought and paid for that action is like saying endorsement deals and sponsorship dollars don't mean a thing to NASCAR, maybe the government is afraid that *possibly* might lead back to the government.

aside from all that, did they show his body?
I don't watch the news,. i read the newspapers but i haven't got the recent issues.

I know they showed Saddam's body.
and his execution, i remember watching that, and i remember how every joe-patriot who has so many American Flags all over his car and he can't even see out of window and mows over pedestrians every day on his to the shit-hole factory job, because he loves America so much would circle jerk to it with all his Toby keith look alike Klan buddies.

Taking out the leader of one of the worlds most violent terrorist organizations is meaningless, huh? Easy to say it has no real meaning if you weren't affected by it in the least bit. Furthermore, I feel like this is something America can unite behind during such a long dreadful era of pessimism and despair. They haven't shown his body, but ffs, it's been less than 24 hours since it happened. I don't think the first thing they want to do is parade the image of a carcass all over the country.

Oh, also
9/11 WAS AN INSIDE JOB, I RESEARCHED IT ON YOUTUBE

Do people really believe 9/11 was an inside job still? Seriously? To counter your one point of physical evidence, jet fuel doesn't burn at a high enough temperature to melt those buildings, but the buildings lose structural cohesion at a temperature way below their melting point. Every single piece of every conspiracy theory you've heard about 9/11 has been disproven. Have you read the 9/11 comission? Have you actually looked at all into the facts, other than what's been spoon-fed to you by Zeitgeist, Loose Change, etc? Seriously. Google "debunk 9/11 conspiracies", and tell me you don't find a million different cold hard facts that completely tear apart your boogeyman.

Fucking crawl out of your hole you sheltered juvenile. Fuck.

i have seen zeitgeist, thought it was stupid and painted a sensationalized spin on things that could otherwise be talked about logically.

i never said anything about 9/11 conspiracy theories.
I said possibly meaning, well i am pretty you know what possibly means.
My take on is that terrorists did pull off 9/11 but not because they hate our freedoms but because of something the CIA calls "blowback."
Which is defined as "the unintended consequences of military intervention"
or in laymans terms, if you strap on a gun and go strutting around some other mans country you better be ready for some action jack.

Taking out the "most powerful" terrorist in the word does mean nothing, because there always be a bigger badder bogeyman to replace whoever was just vanquished.

When we took out Hitler did that stop genocides?
nope.
When the Roman Empire fell did that mean an end to Imperialism?
nope.
when the Soviet Union fell apart did that mean an end to communism?
nope.
When we freed the slaves did that mean an end to racial bigotry?
nope.
When we ousted Saddam did it mean an end to oppressive dictators?
nope.
Did it restore stability to Iraq?
nope. if anything it made it worse.
When we ousted the Taliban in Afghanistan did it restore peace and prosperity?
nope.
When we declared "War on drugs" did it end drug abuse?
nope.
When...i think i have currently run out of "whens"

Bin Laden Defeated

Why does everyone mention that lame ass movie?

There the works of a small army of economic theorists that disprove Keynesian economic theory.

Ludwig Von Mises, F.A. Hayek, Lew Rockwell, Murray N. Rothbard to name a few.

What are you thinking about right now?

I am thinking about how the heat from the "Bin Laden Defeated" Thread
is causing so much it i smelting all the other threads near it.

Bin Laden Defeated

author=Pokemaniac
"The FBI named him one of their ten 'most wanted' fugitives, telling the public to watch out for a left-handed, grey-bearded gentleman who walks with a stick."

Oh God I'd never realised what danger I've been in!

Sir do you know what you can do with a stick?
WAP someone in the shins!

you should be very afraid.

Bin Laden Defeated

All the news covers tonight is that Osama is dead and Obama taking ownership for the act.

Well, it was during his presidency, feather in his cap. Any other president ever would have done the same.

I watched the speech he made, if I'm not mistaken I don't recall him saying he did it. I recall him saying something along the lines of it was more of an effort made by the American people that spanned since the FBI made him an interest in '98.

wouldn't it be funny if he did?

Yep i shot him.

had both my kids sitting next to me by the 50 cal in lawn chairs with binoculars waiting for the kill shot...ohh by the way i no-scoped him bitches.

Bin Laden Defeated

Personally i feel nothing will change, they will simply find another bogeyman to keep People pumped full of fear (war is big business but fear is an even bigger business) There was "Charlie"(Vietnam anybody?) the russians, The ayatollah, Saddam, Bin Laden, Saddam again, Bin Laden again, now it will be someone else. America will never run out of enemies(ENDLESS VICTORIES sound familiar?)

As long as Arms dealers keep making that money honey and the Pentagon keeps getting it's budget check there will always be an enemy on the T.V. hating you for the freedoms you have to only do the drugs they say you can do, the money you can spend only after senators and bureaucrats have the first slice off the top, the freedom to say what you want as long as it doesn't spoil the soccer game of some soccer mom from a gated community, the freedom to fly anywhere you want as long some guy with a double digit IQ gets to fondle your grandmothers piss bag and strip search your six year old and finally the freedom to stare at a flag and listen to rednecks sing about staring at a flag( I quote George Carlin on this: "I leave Symbols to the symbol minded")

To reiterate my point Bin Laden's deaths means nothing more than a jump in the sales of "Yes We Can" T-shirts.

Is grinding a flaw in rpgs?

I think grinding is pretty cool. I enjoyed it in FF I and FFII.

The real improvement would be rewards.
Like collecting treasure from fallen enemies to craft new weapons/armor

that would make it fun and not so monotonous.
Plus i enjoy the challenge of having to beef up or get your ass handed to you in a high hat.
