Take Down: Infinity Shift ~Forum RPG~

OOC: I hate beer, so I'll have to decline. It's the thought that counts, though, so I'll pass.

Take Down: Infinity Shift ~Forum RPG~

Well, that was easier than expected.

ACTION: Go North. The air where there used to be a wall compels you.

As knowledgeble as he was, Kyle didn't know the first thing about doing magic. However, he knew explosive devices are usually volatile, so he could try to use shock to detonate the Wand.

CONDITIONAL ACTION: If noone else shows the knowledge of magic necessary to detonate the Wand the proper way, Kyle makes sure everyone is far enough from it then attempts to detonate it by throwing a stone at it.

I have nothing more to say than that that is my view as well. Good share.

[Poll] Sonic Lost Worlds

It's about time Sonic joined us in the Super Mario Galaxy generation, and it only took them 6 years to catch on... oh wait.

Innovation sure isn't rolling around at the speed of sound with these guys.

It seems to me that they picked up some of the old Sonic Xtreme stuff and decided to put some of that on a game that'll actually get released.

[Poll] Sonic Lost Worlds

I don't care if you don't want to hear it, here's your damn Sonic Cycle anyway.

No forum thread about a new Sonic game is complete without it, even if I don't think it's relevant anymore, considering Colors and Generations.

Now that that's dealt with...

I was already going to get a 3DS for Pokémon X/Y, but this just makes me get a 3DS even harder.

I seriously never lost any love for Sonic all these years. He's my #1 favourite videogame character. He has an actual personality that is fun, rebellious, heroic, and kick-ass. Even if the game is ultimately garbage (2007-cough-) Somic endures as the coolest hedgehog around.
Ditto. The old toy shop I frequented as a little kid had Sonic 2 on display, and I spent a lot of time just standing there looking at the demo. The first Sonic game I actually owned was Sonic Advance (heresy, I know), but whenever I was at the home of someone with a Sega console, I would insist on playing any Sonic game they might've had.

Sonic is just fun. Say what you want, but roller coasters in game form with all that vibrant eye candy are just the perfect way to relax after a long and tiring day. No need for super complex game mechanics, no need for super deep characters, I just need to have pure fun.

I'll admit that Sonic had a bit of a bad time, but starting with Unleashed then Colors and Generations, the Blue Blur seems to be getting back on track. This seems to be continuing that, though with just this trailer it's too early to tell. Also, flickies and the other small animals, long time no see!

especially coming off their greatest game: Sonic 2006
No. No. Just no. I have a high tolerance for the screwups of the games from the so-called Dark Age of Sonic. However, that game is utter garbage. A game where you can stuck snowboarding downhill by turning in a certain way, a boss can lock you into into an endless loop of getting hit without being able to move and not dying, a jump will kill you unless you enter the ramp at the perfect angle, gives you a pushing block puzzle without giving you the tools to push them with precision, among other things, is not a good game, much less the greatest. That game was one of the most frustrating gaming experiences I have ever had the misfortune of experiencing. That's what pushing your game for a Christmas release even though it's incomplete gets you...

Case in point:

Sonic and Megaman team up comic from Archie ComicsWTF is this. Look at this art! I am upset. There is no way around it, I have to get a job at Archie and show them how to do it. Ugh. Look at Megaman. So terrible.
Still better than what I can do... Though, I guess I can see what you mean. Megaman's mouth seems odd in some panels.

And it's so obvious Archie started the Megaman comic already with that crossover in mind. I have always said Sonic/Classic Megaman is the perfect crossover, and now it's become a reality.

Going back to the game now, It seems that the usual formula of Dr. Eggman unleashing some evil he should not be unleashing and then the evil turning on him and kicking his ass is back. Except this time, it happens right at the beginning and Sonic and Eggman team up for the rest of the game. Interesting.

Also, Sega and Nintendo made a deal. The next three Sonic games (this one being the first) will be Nintendo exclusives, and Nintendo becomes the publisher of those Sonic games in Europe. You know, I kinda could see Sonic actually becoming a Nintendo exclusive in the future. A bit ironic considering the 90s console wars, but Nintendo and Sega are so buddy-buddy with each other now, what with all these Olympics games and Brawl, that I would not be surprised at all.

Maybe something like an option, at battle start, called Change Battle Type (if you don't set, it defaults to the last one used) with a few menu options (ATB, CTB, Turn, and some others)

I hope you come to realize how horrible this idea is.

You know you're a Final Fantasy fan when...

So today I learned why your starter Pokémon starts at level 5 instead of 1.

[Poll] Xbox One or PS4? Which one will you be buying?

author=Addit
You're right; it's going to take some time before that happens. All of my friends are in the same boat as me: "Why does Console gaming still exists when we have our smartphones to play games with?" And sure, a lot of them still play around with their Xbox's and PS3's, but even they admit that the day is coming. I wouldn't be too surprised if that happens. Until then, enjoy your brand new consoles! Muahahahahaha!!!

I'll say it again. Try playing Street Fighter on a smartphone. Try playing Sonic on a smartphone. Try playing freaking Call of Duty on a smartphone! You'll quickly realize their limitations.
