Is Trump even Human?
If it's any consolation, you're not going to be voting for Biden. You'll be voting for his running mate who has yet to be announced. It might even be Bernie! ᕕ( ᐛ )ᕗ
Just kidding. It'll never be Bernie.
Biden is a senile old coot who doesn't know where he is at any given point. He's literally being wheeled out by his handlers, given a few lines, and even then he botches them. It was funny a few months ago when his faux pas were validating people's suspicions, but now it's sad that an old man in his twilight years is being mistreated this way, and pathetic of the Democratic party to be using him so. How did it go from 29 nominees to him?
Anyway, expect to be really voting for Hillary Clinton.
Again.

Has Anyone Used SRPG Studio?
If it's on sale for dirt cheap now, it wouldn't hurt to buy it.
At the very least, you'll be supporting further gamedev-dev efforts :3

dyhalto also has it which is to be expected since he's the master of SimRPG95.
I was one of the first 100 downloads :j
But... I'll stick to Sim RPG Maker 95. It's been awhile, but I remember my primary complaints being...
1) Unfriendly user interface. Commands and other things aren't where you'd expect them to be. For example, Esc doesn't back out of certain menus when it should obviously do so. Small quirks like that, but they add up.
2) Making your own graphic resources has a steep learning curve and is tedious when you do figure it out. Also, like others have said, there's a major lack of resources out there. One of our community's fine sprite artists could probably make mad bank if they were to design one for it.
3) Eventing is a boondoggle. I can't really describe why. You have to try it for yourself to see how dysfunctional it is. It'll suffice for when you want to make the Killer Edge swordsman join the player's team, but don't attempt anything fancy without intent to code Java.
It's not a bad program persay. You just have to want to use SRPG Studio to make a game. Luxaren Allure II could be made in MV, VX Ace, or even good ol' 2k3 ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°). An SRPG Studio game is meant to make SRPG Studio games.
STAT-19 Quarantine
I'm #10 Achiever? Wow, I haven't even been trying very hard for the last couple of years.
You clowns all need to step up your games. No pun intended.

You guys ok with the Corona Virus/covid19?
Nah, LockeZ. I think this thing may draw to a close in the near'ish future, and we'll be looking back on it the same way we remember the West Nile panic, when everyone thought mosquitos were going to spread the doomsday plague.
Some positive news!
In Italy, they did a blood drive and found that 70% of donors were infected with the virus, but had no idea they were. It follows that a lot more people may be infected than tests are revealing, which drastically reduces the mortality rate to well-below 1%.

It's in Italian. I can't find an English language source, presumably because the English-language media is practicing their usual penchant for driving hysteria for ratings.
We're rapidly approaching a point where more deaths will be caused by economic dislocation than the virus itself.

It's non-RPG Month.
Chocobo Panic : Space
I played it again when I had the sniffles a few months back. It's still as great as I remember, and the mapping and puzzles are immaculate.

I guess the toilet paper craze is winding down. I went to my grocer last Saturday evening and there were pyramids of it stacked in the middle of aisles and bunched up against the Starbucks kiosk.
I wouldn't worry too much about the expense of relief bills. Currencies float freely in value against one another. If literally everybody on earth does a relief package, then everybody's expenses will rise in relative lockstep. Obviously there'll be size differences between, say, a US relief package and a Malta relief package, but that's the idea. The biggest downside will be a sudden increase in inflation without a corresponding rise in wages.
Well... the biggest downside would be uncontrolled hyperinflation, but I can't see us going there.
I'm more worried about the precedent of mass shutdowns, quarantines, and bailouts every time there's a "crisis". The coronavirus is a big deal, no doubt, but we have breakouts every year or two, and epidemics roughly every ten. If the relief packages prove a little too lucrative, will this become a going concern in years to come?
Probably not, but this is the stuff I think about at night.

Canada’s trying to approve an 82 Billion Dollar relief plan right now (which is INSANE for this country) and just how are they planning to pay off that when CoVid19 either gets cured or slows down immensely in the future, raising taxes???

heh.
What you meant to say is : He's contributing other people's funds to help with the Coronavirus effort. That's something any of us can do with a GoFundMe. Solicit donations -> Give to charity. He has a huge following so he'll have more success than you or I, but still.
So nope. Just another politician.

All Bernie "has to say about this crisis" is a bunch of heroic feats he would totally accomplish if he were in charge and not the other guy. Just another politician.
Speaking of which, why is he still campaigning? The DNC has already decided that Biden will be their guy. He's going to get shafted just like he did in 2016.

Addit covered the British Columbia, Canada situation fairly aptly, with the slight difference being that he's an east-coast city slicker whereas I'm in the interior Okanagan.
According to the grocers I chat up, people are stockpiling calmly. The stores are obviously busier than normal, but people are respectful and not prone to mad rushes and violence like we've seen elsewhere. The toilet paper and hand sanitizer shelves went empty awhile ago, but surprisingly, the canned soup only started to draw down this week.
Of course, this calm is probably because we have a lot of farmers and hunters in the community, and they're generally stocked for a few weeks anyway.
Anyhoo, if I get told to stay home, I have enough food for 4-6 weeks. I'm more worried about coworkers being without work, should my plant decide to shutter for awhile. I have savings, but a lot of them are paycheck-to-paycheck.
Not to mention narrow-margin small businesses. I think this whole thing is going to decimate Retail.
I'm still waiting to see what governments in general do about mass quarantine layoffs and lost wages. Trudeau will undoubtedly copy whatever real leaders do, so the ball's in some other country's court.
