I'm kinda torn about this. On the one hand it's a really cool concept and it makes the fight look more action-y. It's pretty awesome is what I mean. On the other hand, I can't see myself playing this for more than one fight. I'm already kinda dizzy. Maybe less side to side movement?

I'm experimenting working with particles instead of the traditional (for me) sprites and pictures. It turns out I can make much cooler stuff like that and it opens my mind a lot more. Wish I had thought of that before!

Edit: only Vegeta's (and Goku's) aura and his Ki barrage attack are particles.

Big Progress Report! November 2017 (Image heavy)

Yeah it will be a tough one to balance but it will be balanced, maybe on the expense of being lore friendly eventually. :<

However, right now it feels very strong, but also very dangerous to use. The HP tax makes sure you can't just keep it up for as long as you want, which is also kinda lore friendly, which is cool. It doesn't feel too OP because of that.

I'll do my best to not make it game-breaking is what I'm getting at :)

I had this equipment menu layout sitting around in a psd for a good few years now. Yesterday I decided I want to make it into an actual menu. So I put it in a side project and it took me way too long to figure out how to make the equipment menu cursor work in all 4 directions, while keeping it completely dynamic in terms of number of items allowed, number of items per row, etc. Now I have the most complex part of the menu, which I usually save for last, done and ready! yay.

Playing around with a field of vision thing. Ignore the ghost image thing, it didn't turn out as good as I thought it would.

This is top notch stuff Momeka. I actually loved the ghost image thing a lot, too. It's a really cool effect.
