Help, Kaduki Sideview Battle System v2.3 Tech Assists Are Disabled!



How do I use 2 Man Tech Assist and 4 Man Tech Attack like in the Tankentai Sideview Battle System where by both party members execute an attack at the same time, typically both of them raise their sword one slashes and the others follow creating a V slash.

For some reason It doesn't work since the skill for 2-Man Tech Assist and 4-Man Tech Attack are locked for some reason, I have no idea what I'm supposed to do to use them, I tried making an item that changes your state to 2 man tech e.t.c, also tried to add all the skills in also tried to set the characters HP and stats really high as you can see but nothing helped.


Here's a you tube video of the tech assist I'm talking about, The souther cross move which looks like a 2 man tech assist move but tweaked, also they do the default 2 man tech move with the V slash. This is possible with the Kaduki battle system ( I'm sure their the exact same script just that they use different sprite formats for battlers but I'm sure this is not the issue since I set all my battlers as the script said also they never mentioned anything on the 2 man tech assist settings e.t.c anywhere )

How do I enable 2 and 4-Man Tech Assist/Attack Skills, What can I do? I'f their is a tag or something I'm supposed to add in the database where the skills are or something what is it and how do I set it?

Hope I could get some help with this as I've already gone far making my game with this script and need these skills to work or it would really suck for me... thanks

P.S I don't really care for Flamus or Fire Blessing but if you know how to enable these it might be the same reason or helpful later on...

Nice crew-cut mog, its complicated but I think if your shooting a gun might as well do it with best skill, I also wish there was alot more peace than warfare and violence in the world but then again sometimes peace is boring and somber. No offense I'd rather join the Navy than have a day job at an elementary school as naive as I am... but its complicated, war can get real messy...

yeah, you can even swap live in real time during the game for some pretty wicked effects, swapXT is the one of the best scripts for VX its one of those scripts that are soo good their almost mandatory.

Oh, it is possible in VX? I was under the impression that VX had a maximum number of tiles and a maximum number of tilesets, which makes it difficult for any alternate or edited tileset to actually offer more versatility than the RTP. I guess I'm vaguely aware that there's some sort of script you can use to partially get around it but I never did check up on the details. (I use XP these days.)
There's two methods: scripts/programs that switch tile sets and parallax mapping. With the latter you can pull off some amazing stuff. But both require a little extra work to make your maps look pretty.


I prefer parallax mapping a thousand times more, its what makes VX mapping a lot more enjoyable as you can see the parallax in development instead of having to always test play.

Games that use RTP graphics?

I think you mean the BulletXt tile-swap script which is good but also so bothersome compared to other rpg makers. VX has alot of limits that get annoying but its best you keep things simple with it otherwise XP is a much better choice for more complex and artistic mapping plus the rtp in X.P Imo is the best.

When I use VX I just re-color everything independently in Paint.Net using the hue toggle and just mess around, I'm trying to see If I can make an alien universe with blue trees and purple purple cliffs ( which was already included in the rtp ) or just make a mess of the vx rtp.





As mentioned theirs no problem using rtp as long as something either the story, games atmosphere, features, battles system is a little different like some simple recoloring or the default vx rtp can create an alien world, why because blue trees are uncommon in games but its still rtp.



I think its more about if you can use rtp creatively that matters since it will be a disadvantage if your game looks like all the other rpg maker rtp games even if it has alot more to it, the first impression will be ruined but I don't think this is an issue for reviews more of for the players who generally see alot of rtp already.
