Yeah, the maps Corfaisus provided for this project are fairly spectacular! I'm glad that I was able to receive the help of such a great mapper.

I haven't actually gotten around to working on this particular dungeon yet, but when I do there's a good chance that I'l be changing that chest graphic! Hahahaha. This is just to show off some of Corfaisus' mapping abilities. =B

Weapon Attributes
"Magical" and "Plant" are now two additional categories that enemies can be placed into! I found that the original five just didn't cover enough ground, resulting in a TON of enemies falling into the "Animal" category than any other one.

Another's Thoughts
That would be WONDERFUL, but I don't think I'm going to be doing anything too "custom" for that project. It's more or less going to be a way for me to familiarize myself with VX ACE and to get something out there that was made using that maker. For now, I work on it on-and-off; while I mainly work on the events and script for DFR, the HOT remake is for when I want to take care of gameplay-related stuff.
Another's Thoughts
I am indeed! And I have to admit that it's a lot more fun that I thought it would be! I suppose it's just the thought of using a new (and the most recent) maker, but there's so much customization when it comes to enemies, weapons, items, etc. compared to the older versions! And THAT'S what I love. Well, that and the ability to utilize a few handy-dandy scripts and the like =P
Unity Plays Your Game!
Thanks a TON for the feedback, Unity! I'm glad to hear you're enjoying the experience, and hope you end up finishing the game in the future! Although if you're at Lispen, then you're not too far from the end.
Granted, I didn't think there was TOO much grinding to be had in the game, as I was always under the impression that I made it ridiculously easy. Maybe not? Then again, you are playing the Adventurer's Edition, so there's that to take into consideration...
I can't tell you why I never did a world wrap, but in regards to the "detail" found in most dungeons, I took HEAVY inspiration from Dragon Warrior II. I think originally I'd intended the game to be far more "oldschool" than what it ended up coming out like.
