I'm a very big fan of music of japanese role playing games for it has influenced me throughout my life since my early childhood. The day I saw Nobuo on the stage in front of me I decided I too will become a composer one day. It has been 9 years since that day.

You can't find my works anywhere right now, but that will change very soon this year as I will be contributing several original tracks for RMN Music Pack 2.

Music genres and style influences of your work:
  • I love JRPG music especially: Nobuo Uematsu, Yasunori Mitsuda, Hitoshi Sakimoto, Shoji Meguro, Akari Kaida, Hiroshi Tamawari and many more. They may influence me to some degree!

Your choice of audio software:
  • I use FL studio with various Native Instruments' libraries.

Instruments you play:
  • I utilize midi keyboard for my drafts, but I mostly just write music directly.

Your proudest accomplishment as a musician:
  • Getting to the point where I am now. Creating RMN Music Pack as a collaboration was really rewarding too, even though I just mostly oversaw the event.

Glad to be back as well!

My first track is gonna be an orchestral sneaking about an evil fortress type deal.

Hey, good to have you! Speaking of sneaking, my tech base track is also somewhat sneaky-sort.

Here's a preview of what it sounds like, though I still need to work on the volume levels (bring down some of the high freq perc to move the mix more in front, etc.): https://rpgmaker.net/users/Happy/locker/Tech_Base_v01.ogg

I hope our tracks won't be too similar. :D

Oh man, this should be fun! Thanks for reaching out via email, Happy! It's been about 6 years since the first pack and I'm excited to pump out some stuff for this again!

With battle themes being my speciality, that's likely what will come from me, but I'll do other themes if I can!

It's been a while, alright! It's good to see some of the old faces back again. I'm really curious and impatient to see, and to show, how far we've come after all this time!

whatever happened to summoner of sounds

Hey! I decided to answer your concerns in a personal message, as I would prefer to have this thread focus on RMN Music Pack 2 itself! If anyone else has questions regarding RMN's other events than RMN Music Pack 2, I'd ask you to kindly direct them through other channels than the construction space of this music pack! That would be much appreciated!

If you want to ask me about other music events in RMN, feel free to send me a personal message or contact me at Discord any time!

Well done finishing this game. Just started playing it for the first time now. It sure does look and sound good so far in.

Overwatch

I play often. Me having to switch to US-region pings would probably also make the competition fairer for you!
