Coincidentally, I'm using the same chipsets for mapping rn, Healy :0
Your little ship looks cute <3
Thanks! I'm sure yours looks just as good, and likely better.
author=Luiishu535Yeah, Imgur's being weird right now. I don't know what's up with that.
@Healy: I can't see your screenshot. :/
EDIT: Oh hey, that looks pretty great, Cor!

Frogge: Cute, cute
CashmereCat: Looks nice! Did you make that tileset yourself?
Anyway, don't if I'm going to do any more with this, but the tileset was kind of a bitch to work with so I might as well show it off:

Resource Museum
Freedom House is a Japanese material site with a lot of good midis, if there's anybody around who's still using that format. Under usage, it says, "It does not need permission until the end of the spacetime" (according to Google Translate) for regular use, which I find immensely charming.
Inhuman Resources
If you're looking for sound effects, try Maou Damashii. They're free to use with commercial products, and they got some retro NES SFX (as well as a bunch of menu sounds). I used them for the menu sounds in Night of the Lapinoids, and they sound great.
Landy Land Review
Thank you for leaving a review! (I was logged out for a while, so I didn't see this until now.) I'm glad you liked it so much; Landy Land is bit of an odd duck, since most comedy RPGs of its type were made over a decade ago. So it's nice when somebody says they liked it. Again, thanks!
[RM2K3] only upper half of custom tileset shows ?

Caz: Hey, nice work!
Currently I'm frankensteining some tilesets together, which is taking a while. Hopefully I'll get 'em done by tonight so I can start mapping tomorrow.

Nice! I love dicking around in games, so an event based entirely around sidequests is like catnip to me.
One question: does planning for a game count as starting a game, or are we going by the "you don't officially start your game until you actually create the project in the editor" rule? I got a specific idea in mind, and I want to plan stuff out so I can use my time more effectively when the event starts.
