Rock Opera Competition?
So I was thinking that competing to see who could make the best adaption of a rock opera would be pretty fun. There are a lot of rock operas to choose from (Tommy, Jesus Christ Superstar, and Ziggy Stardust being a few of the most famous), and it's a fun subject to work with. And if we're worried about litigation or whatnot we can restrict the comp to pastiches or parodies.

Elaborate Economy System
Man, I never got very far in Taipan. I always seemed to run out of money or get beat up by pirates.
Back on topic, this sounds like a cool idea. I enjoyed playing Uncharted Waters: New Horizons, and I think a more RPG-ish game like that could be cool.

Bah, still can't get it to work. I think I'll just go with the band-aid solution and put a big warning: "DO NOT BUTTON MASH OR YOU WILL FALL OFF A CLIFF AND DIE" That's /almost/ as good as fixing the problem, right?
Blarg, that's a terrible idea. I'd rather you go without the jump mechanic than leave it in completely buggy.
