There was a recent competition at TIGSource that might be right up your alley. Basically it was a two part competition that with people making resources for the first part and then other people had to make games with the resources for the second part. Here are some links:

It's okay, I guess. Something seems off about the walls, but I can't quite put it into words. Also the checkerboard tiles are probably too big.

I think there needs to be a distinction between satire and shit. Healy's game was satire. Phylomortis: Quest for the Golden Brassiere was shit.

@Healy, I actually liked that to be honest, it's actually hilarious and not just plain shitty game make me rage quit or what a waste of time :X
I am actually sort of shocked that you two like that game. What would you say, then, is the vital difference between my game and other bad-on-purpose games?
Intentionally Bad Games.
Well, as someone who has created an intentionally bad game, I'll have to say that I really enjoyed the experience of creating something really awful on purpose, but it apparently wasn't very well recieved. You might want to keep that in mind when you work on your project.

I hope you don't mind me asking this, but how easy would you say making a game with ika will be when the whole refinement is done? Will a total programming newbie be able to make a game without a whole lot of hardship?
