Crazy idea: how about restoring signatures to help members promote their own stuff, their own way? I'd be much more tempted to click on a link to, say, a project page in my immediate sight than visit the profile of a member who for some reason or the other I don't particularly care about.
I would like this if people who posted like crazy would not make this look like spam.
"I post 10 times as much as the average user so I get all so much more exposure"
Some people see it as a plus for advertising. I just see it as ENOUGH of seeing this game already!
Legend of Philosopher's Stone, yes you.
*Wishing I did not respond to that in this thread. Too off topic.

What is the name of the script you are using to display place names? I have seen it before and always valued its simplicity and neatness.

Not sure how I feel about the trees really. I feel kinda like Sailerius does, but it's nice to acknowledge more than a type of tree can exist in a place.
Is the monster the puff of smoke? You had to tell me to look for a monster to even consider it. I think there are so many things that would do a better job representing monsters, unless you are trying to imply this monster is literally smoke based.

I have always thought these frilly types of fonts work better for titles than for in-game textboxes and menus. But also, the font is shown to be cut off around where equipment is being displayed. The Freeze Ring is spaced too close to the Diamond Armor, so it doesn't look very neat.

So, I say your title screen is cool, too. But also, you must progress.
It has been over a month since you made this topic http://rpgmaker.net/forums/topics/8591/
and even a few others about making your title screen and logo. For the sake of your game, you should probably stop thinking of it so much.
And lately, you are showing more screens like this
http://rpgmaker.net/games/1352/images/18844/
which feature art you did not make and you admittedly are not sure you know how you will use. The idea of using an image to display your place name is alright, though.
All in all, it seems the direction you are on is more about "touches" for your game than actually producing it. It just makes me want to ask, because I do not know... does this mean your game is almost ready to be submitted and you are actually in a polishing stage? If not, I hope you do not continue to be as wrapped up in it.

Do you guys still acknowledge your early projects?

This is what I did with my cancelled game. I put everything in a scrapbook kind of form to remember it by.

Your abandoned game ideas?
Vampyre's Kiss was legendary at Don's site. Jude would always show things from his game that seemed way advanced for the time. I dare say the community felt it was the biggest thing being made. Yes, I definitely remember this.
