I think the things you all are doing for the site are great. The people saying that probably just wonder if you will state what you intend to do in the future with reviews. You probably have not told us because you do not know.

These conventional looking mapped ones are some of the best looking ones you show.
Looks like the design style between screenshots is jumping all over the place.
To be constructive, maybe all these other ideas you have for design could be for different games in themselves.

I also played Skeeball Golf and won everyone in our little group a free drink on the bar. Life is feeling pretty cushy right about now. :D
All you had to do was tell the bartender that you are from rpgmaker.net and #rm2k. Then go into all the l33t games you have made. It gets the free drinks every time. You should have thought of this. Try this one for me.
Review scoring: standardization, professionalism, etc.
Yeah, I think I did not post from the perspective that most games are lucky to have just one review. My mind was thinking in terms of the ones with 6-14, where the reviews beat a dead horse. Like I want to say Forever's End is good, we get it. This certainly isn't a reflection of the typical games on the site. What I cared about is that hopefully everyone gets to see at least a review for their effort, and in the short term some people might want to seek those that got overlooked.
Then I think about the hundreds of games that are unreviewed because they were made for a short term community event. Those reviews would be awkward.
