Vacant Sky aggressively marketed. More aggressively than many indie games.
And I must have missed all this "aggressive advertising"
Because for some reason, most people haven't heard of this game regardless of its advertising.
Even on the RM forums I just thought it was another bland everyday XP/VX game.
Although it had like 100+ comments, I figured it was because it had been out so long.

Honestly, the 20+ people(if it wasn't just a couple people multi-voting with different accounts) gave a vote towards one category, they probably just voted for every other category that was available.
Which is probably why so many of the votes are like twenty-seven.
The only reason I know of Vacant Sky is because it's in most RM forums.
But if I just solely went to this site, then I wouldn't know one thing about the game.
Also, we can't really compare mainstream games with an advertising budget to indie made games on RM sites.
So, of course we have all heard(mostly) of Red Dead Redemption. :]

I don't think he meant those are the actual categories that RDR won in, I think he was just making an example.
Saying that RDR basically topped over other xbox, etc etc games, like Vacant Sky did here.
