I have a bandaid on my head.

For a legitimate reason.

What are you thinking about right now?

Coming home from the 2nd shift at work I wondered if I was going to be working the morning shift tomorrow. The schedule only updates at 12:00 midnight on Wednesdays. I go to check it: Working at 10:00AM.

I need to go drink some goddamn tea.

What Videogames Are You Playing Right Now?

Well a few hours ago I was introduced to Rayman Origins by a buddy, and the first thing that popped into my head was HOLY SHIT LOOK AT THE FRAMERATE ON THAT TITLE SCREEN.

Video game tunes that get stuck in your head often?

No, wait. I've got one even better.

I could just post the entire soundtrack from this one game.

Video game tunes that get stuck in your head often?

This always gets stuck in my head at work.

And this, everywhere else.

Though I grew up with the SNES version, after listening to this one I haven't been able to get it out of my head.

Play this song over any Persona 3 battle. It just fits! Don't ask me why.

I am SHOCKED at how intuitive those things are to jump on. They don't throw Mario off of them even when at a steep angle. They're just tricky enough that someone who's nervous or hasn't encountered them before will have a lot of trouble, but they're also consistent and not at all gltichy, meaning the player can know what to expect when they re-experience them later. There's a lot of potential for those spinning platforms.

What happens when you share your favourite games with people?

Most people I meet either don't like video games or enjoy the games that I like.

My dad never played games too much, but he at least put forth some effort into trying them since I loved them as a kid. I have particularly fond memories of us playing Starfox 64's multiplayer, and thoroughly getting trounced by him. Apparently he was a wiz at Asteroids though, and after that games started getting too complicated.

But funnily enough, my grandma was into games for a while. Mostly the stuff you'd expect like Animal Crossing and Harvest Moon, but also: Dark Cloud 2. She put about 100 hours into the game, and even went through the whole of the Zelmite Mines on her own. She was more dedicated to it then I was. I just liked the town-building.

For once, having nothing to talk about sucks. Go figure.

I thought everyone talked about the weather because no one can do anything about it. :)

I think this castle was my favorite. Though I don't know why. Probably just that first room: Moving platform bits are tough to pull off properly but when they are its just a barrel of joy.
