Using Enemy Attack Patterns
Wait...you mean most people DON'T incorporate patterns into their enemies?!
That's one of the most rewarding aspects of boss battles. Figuring out those simple quirks that separate them from the humdrum cannon fodder. Its one thing to have a big muscly demon constantly beating down on your heroes, and another entirely to realize that he's only focusing on one at a time. Moments of revelation like that are only going to make a battle that much more fun. Even if you still can't really do much against the enemy at least it makes the fight more interesting.
Good ol' Baramos just wouldn't have been the same if it weren't for his attack pattern. That and sending my damn healer to limbo.

How planned-out should your RPG be before you begin?
Think of it this way: How many licensed games can you think of that were made without the developers carefully planning everything out? And furthermore how many of those games were good?
Super Mario Eternal Chaos - SMBX
Super Doki Doki World
Just finished this a while ago. I have to say when I saw "Not for the weak of heart!" I had my expectations raised. But when I found out the game's on the easy side, I must say I was a bit disappointed.
...No wait, its not easy. Its normal. I'm too used to my own games. Plus playing Ninja Gaiden 2 hadn't helped either. XD
Still. Fantastic stuff. If you get rid of that warning in the profile you might draw more people to play.

Calling for only the bravest of testers
Right then, that's two demos sent to you two.
I still need to post that here though, because my mailbox has been acting funky lately and you may not get the PM. Keeps flashing like I've got a message even though there's nothing there...

Lets Play Super RMN Bros. 3 (Complete)
I might do something more ordinary first. I've had Ghouls n' Ghosts on the brain, and I've also wanted to do Zelda 3 and the Dragon Warrior series at some point. I'll certainly try out what SMBX games I can find the time for. The ones that don't lag my computer that is. :P
Lets Play Super RMN Bros. 3 (Complete)
Right then. Its all done. As I said before, this one video is all I'm posting here: the rest is on youtube. Go watch it.
I'mma go eat some breakfast to celebrate.

I take offense to that! Each and every Fighterfly and other enemy was placed meticulously and with careful consideration of where the player jumps and lands. I made sure to find all the most inconvenient spots for them to be. Absolutely everything in that level is calculated to kill you.
Naturally, I can completely understand why you despise it.
