The Perfect Debate
Arguing from a narrative standpoint and waxing philosophically about a crossover with Lex Luthor is pure folly, and I suspect you know this, Kentona. The fact is, the question is not "What would Superman and Goku do if they met" but "Which of them would win in a fight." I know from Hero's Debate that you have more intellectual honesty than this, so I ask you to please debate in a serious fashion henceforth.
The Perfect Debate
The Flash is not part of the perfect debate. If you will not respect the perfect debate guidelines, I will have to ask you to read passively.
The Perfect Debate
Tony Stark vs Bruce Wayne is indeed a valid debate topic, but it is not this one. Need I refer you to paragraph five, line 1 of the original post?
I specified a Goku at the end of DBZ. Gohan had the ability to defeat Cell at that point in the series, but even the first time you see Goku after that, he has far surpassed the young Gohan in ability. Therefore, if Superman cannot defeat Doomsday, and Doomsday has similar regenerative capabilities to Cell, and Goku can defeat Cell, it follows that Goku can, at the very least, defeat more powerful foes than Superman. Indeed, if the Doomsday argument was even applicable, I just might have to call this check and mate in favor of team Goku.
Keep in mind, participants, that you are paying foremost attention to HOW the topic is being debated, not the substance

as i recall goku deliberately surrendered to perfect cell, the jury's out on whether he actually had the ability to defeat him. not a good comparison to make

Legendary Legend Review
I agree, that would be a problem. Luckily, I have not done such a thing or hinted at having done it, so I think I'm safe.
Also, I would appreciate it if you would not call me a "retarded cunt" or make any more statements about 'review culture' because I do not think the first is very polite and I do not think the second is an actual thing.

Legendary Legend Review
Only if you somehow think that "less valid" and "worthless" are one and the same.
The circumstances surrounding this game/project/webcomic have nothing to do with the fact that it is featured. Ending your review with a personal insult does not make it entertaining to read, nor is it all helpful to the author of the game or the average reader. The only thing it ensures is that your objective stance is doubted.
I also highly doubt any of those reviews of Dungeoneer ending on the following note.
Oh and by the way, that guy who said this game was above average? You're a loser.

Greg Orduyan you meaningless piece of shit!
The Perfect Debate
Goku is just as much a hero as Superman, having saved the universe many times. Such illogical pathos is unbecoming of a perfect debater, and I would advise you to abandon that line of thinking.
The Perfect Debate
First of all, Doomsday first appeared in 1992, well after the Silver-Age was over.
But I will entertain you.
If you would claim that Doomsday possesses the raw strength of Goku, then I would demand some evidence to support such a claim. He may indeed be able to revive himself from the dead, but may I remind you that the Z-Fighters have experience destroying a being of similar regenerative capabilities?
That said, Doomsday is irrelevant. Silver-Age Superman did not fight him.

Piccolo remarks that Raditz would have to be faster than the speed of light to dodge the makankÅsappÅ in both the english dub and original japanese version. If you do not believe that Piccolo accurately understands the properties of a technique he spent years developing (a dubious claim, at best) I can show you proof that his "special beam cannon" is indeed at least as fast as the speed of light.
With that in mind, considering how Goku's power level at the end of DBZ is many orders of magnitude greater than his inept brother's at the start of the series, we have to wonder: Could Superman even touch him and "incapacitate him in one solid hit" as you say?
I posit that Goku is just as "physically invulnerable" as Superman, if not more so. Goku, as we all know, fights only those who are at least on par with him. Superman has not even encountered a being of Goku's strength, so it is unknown just how far his invulnerability would take him.
