Interesting Map Notes

yep, each event can only have one move event assigned to them. the moment you assign a new move event to the event (or hero) the old will be overwritten.

it is useful in a sense that you can make use of the "ignore impossible moves" coupled with a switch after a lot of moves in the given direction to make you figure out if the event is colliding with some kind of obstacle, and have another move event overwrite the old one after a certain amount of time in case it hasn't hit an obstacle.

RPG 20XX Engine

is it possible for you to take a look at the operations done on pictures when moving/scaling them?
I suspect there being something there which can trigger a "division by zero" error.

Lions and Concurrency

as far as I know(from testing), the code is executed sequential from the lowest event ID to the highest event ID, something which one can easily test with a move event, since when given to the same event, it will overwrite the previous and execute the new one.

The Great Switch: Why VXP is Better

I'm getting the feeling that craze might be a well disguised adbot

Metal Gear Solid: Lunacy of Legion Review

You people make it sound like none of you have gotten the silencer for the gun, which makes it considerably easier to "stealth kill" guards. Only problem is that you get it too late, and that you can even avoid finding if you don't explore thoroughly enough.

Bugs, bugs, bugs.

then the problem probably lies with the events you want to interact with themselves, rather than them not working as a consequence of the ABS

Bugs, bugs, bugs.

You could say that.
You could have an event which handles battle actions when a switch "battle mode" is on, and none of the battle actions happen when the switch is off, which should allow for events to interact normally.

Bugs, bugs, bugs.

You could always use some button to toggle between "battle mode" and "interaction mode".
i.e. have some common event detect key input and have a switch determine if you're in battle mode or interaction mode.

I'll add a short note about my thoughts on the maps

Prehistoric Zack
apparently, people thought it was a bit harder than I intended

The Great Kaboom
Pretty short and a bit amusing, though I question the "choice" you're given, since you don't really have a choice anyway

Lost Way Chapel
Quite amusing npc's and a quite okay and not hard puzzle. There need to be a few of those as well.

Don't Feed the Troll
I actually loved this one. A great yet simple puzzle that required some thought.

A Hole in Time
This is quite a nice puzzle. Basic, but works well. Making the piano keep showing the a new choice whenever choosing right, and not when choosing wrong was a nice touch, given how it could be hard to hear the exact tones.

Space Station of IQ
Not so much IQ neccessary as Knowledge, but it works for most of the part. Congratulation on the St. Patrick award

The End of the World
Very atmospheric, rather creepy to be more spesific. nicely conveyed and the puzzles were quite okay as well. Only problem with it is how easily you can end up screwing up pushing on of the things, making the map unsolvable. I guess this is why it was adviced to save first, but still.

Another Portal
Designed as a later level dungeon, and thus it is possible that it ended up becoming a little bit difficult.

Horus Hours
Another concept I simply wanted to try, since there was enough time for it, though I'm a bit worried that the puzzles weren't quite intuitive

The Offspring Paradox
This was another sweet puzzle. The battlesystem worked great, and the concept is somewhat amusing. The mini game can be a little buggy in terms of you still controlling fruits which has landed on the edge of the potion bottle, but others than that it was a cool addition.

Switch it Up
A puzzle type I'm rather familiar with, and kind of fond implementing myself every now and then. So with that I did end up enjoying this one as well. It did take some thought and trial to get through though.

Pit of the Pendulum
Another puzzle with atmosphere. This one requires lot of exploring and has some good clever puzzles, and did beat me at one point towards the end due to short term idiocy on my end. I really liked this one, though I do question the use of trigonmetry as it's something some people might not have had too much
learned too much about it. Aside from that all puzzles were cool though.

The Ice Age
Not my favourite to be honest. it's short and okay, but also rather weird. A rather short Ice Age

Time Warrior
Loved this one as well. Lot of amusing touches and a nice puzzle. Due to nostalgia reasons, I kept expecting a random encounter to happen whenever traversing the world map though.

Lot's of good puzzles this time around

Befuddle Quest 5: Zack to the Future

Already had a feeling I might be, thanks for the confirmation.
I'd love to know which of the many things I did which lead you to that conclusion though
