KING OF GAMES'S PROFILE

I'm a young fool and I make games via RM. I enjoy game mechanics and theories, especially new graphical experiments. I'm a master chip splicer and I draw my own resources as well. Teaching myself how to digitally paint via PS, after pixeling for several years.

Make a Worldmap Item in RM2k/3

What if there isn't a direct correlation between screen size, map size and tiles? For example, instead of downsizing some large ass images, I drew my own mini-map free form. I still want the hero's location to display accurately, and I dunno if there's any math that can save me here.

Looking Back: Gens 2

Yes! Man this game epitomizes the height of the GW era of RPGmaking, or say some of the spin off sites me and Tau used to visit like Cedar Wood or Epiphany Gaming.

Even Christo's older games were basically a vehicle for me to get more serious as a competent game designer/rpg maker user. It was admirable too that he had finished the 1st one and then made a sequel in a community where a finished game is a rare commodity.

Though Christo will deny it, it certainly stands as a competent work and deserves recognition. Would love to see a let's play of it and have flashbacks to '05.

it reminded me of king of games or w/e producing these reall y abstract screenshots

Making Dungeon Layouts

This is good for general layouts. I usually plan my dungeons on paper. That way I can draw in any graphic ideas, or specific puzzle ideas for a certain room. They look kind of like this with numbers, with an attached sheet explaining the function/contents of each room. The only problem is paper can be lost/destroyed, it's too irl.

Something about digital dungeon plans just doesn't work for me, but that's personal tastes. I suggest everyone use some kind of plan instead of willy nilly design.
