Can't people think for themselves? Come on, Lennon. Ya copied the interior of the houses in Saturn Valley. Also, the fact that the guy has an afro annoys the crap outta me. I HATE afros almost as much as I hate the people who grow them. I want more games with original graphics. Not JRPG stuff. GOD. You people are annoying. But, I do like your map, East.

Ok.
So basically I'm copying Earthbound because you said so even though the only parallels between Earthbound and Toy Soldiers is the fact that I use block coloring (which is indeed more simplistic than Earthbound as there were details in Earthbound)
and the fact that I have circular houses, and let me tell you circles and circular housing were not invented by Nintendo or Ape Software or Shigesato Itoi. The fact that he has an afro honestly doesn't matter one fucking bit, and basically what you've told me is that by giving him an afro my graphics are somehow even less original, even though I guarantee you that almost nothing like my work is on this site besides more of my work. Yeah so I guess East is thinking for himself cause he ripped like 90% of those screens from rudras, so hes sooo damn original (No offense to you east).

Yes I realize I'm raising this concern over graphics and just the fact that someone doesn't like them, but come on man, you're just making a fucking dumb and annoying claim as far as I'm concerned, instead of just telling me "Those are similar to Saturn Valley", which I would've taken lightly and probably have said "haha, yeah, I guess you're right, they do look similar."

God damn man, sorry for raging and all but I HATE being accused or plagarism or copying something entirely, and even more so I hate being told I'm not even the slightest bit original, and that I can't think for myself.

I will admit, I got the idea for block coloring from Mother 3, but that doesn't mean I'm ripping it off.

Alright I'm done, this post is waaay too long now.

EDIT: And btw, complaining about wanting more original graphics when I made everything in those screens myself is a bit dumb, don't you think?

That looks awesome East! great to see you making some more progress with that.

I myself have been working on chips for Toy Soldiers, the surface world innners in particular.

[DEMO] Dragon Fantasy: My Hero

Downloading. It's a shame I haven't finished the other Dragon Fantasys, really...

But I think you said DF3 is going to take place before the others (Thats what I recall anyways) so that works out perfectly.

Donnie Darko [SPOILERS]

Saw this yesterday at a friends house, it's definitely in my top 5 so far. Yeah, when I saw Seth Rogan I called bullshit, come on, hes in like every movie ever.

What Are You Working On?

Toy Soldiers

I posted two screens of this on GW yesterday, containing the only real graphical progress I've made with it so far. I have the Prologue written and the other 7-8 chapters planned, though. Basically I'll be releasing the Prologue once I'm done, and if people like the project I'll continue with it. If not, I have some other stuff I could do.

Into The Stars

Hey, it sound alright so far in terms of story, although it's still a tad generic, thats perfectly fine. Definitely looks different than other VX titles though, which is a nice change. I'll keep watching to see where this goes.

Post your favorite video game official art/concept art.

Chaos, FFI

Gilgamesh, FFV

The Hub Of Time, Guild Wars Utopia (Cancelled :()

The world for Tales Of Legendia, I can't remember the name, Great Ship I think.

The Earth Train from Treasure Of The Rudras.

Well I would beleive that I am distinctly younger than you. (And most other people in this community I suppose.)

Community History

To be like Kentona, or to just sound over epic:

The Story Of Lennon:

I beleive my obsession started at age 6, watching my cousin john playing Final Fantasy 7 and being in complete awe over the environment. After that point I became fascinated by the thrill of imagining what could be over the hills in a BG, or in a cave on the edge of a map or what have you. That lead me to create Neo Lescia, my first story.

I began writing it, planning everything in my head and creating the world. It fascinated me to no end. Since that time Neo Lescia has become an enigma to me, it is the one thing I dream of seeing completed, but I fear it never can be, as I expanded the game far too much, it just doesn't make sense anymore, it has to be literally everything I ever dreamed, and it is impossible to see such a monumental task come to fruition.

Since then I decided that it would be best to use Neo Lescia as inspiration, my hope and dreams of story writing and game creation. I sort of take bits of its universe and expand them into full games, which should give you an idea of how big Neo Lescia is. So far, I have around 30 games with key points for each planned out in my head, never on paper. the only one I have sat down to write out so far is Project Soldier (Which should 'debut' soon, btw).

So yeah, I just dream and dream, which was my inspiration for my failed but somewhat famous prject, Dreamer. I like to think of myself as the dreamer, for I have what seems to be a boundless imagination of original concepts and stories, that just haven't been structured yet. I could literally look at a picture of a beatiful forest and make an entire game, an entire world out of it.

So, thats it. I just like to dream, and channel my dreams into stories.
