LIBERTY'S PROFILE
I enjoy playing and creating games (mostly RPGs) and have a love of story and characterisation above graphics. I've been into RM* since '96 and have used all makers - started on the PSX makers, found and used a patched version of the SNES RM, then moved to RM95. When I found RM2K I finally decided to join some forums and I've been a part of the community ever since.

And you are...? (THE INTRODUCTION THREAD)
Hard Parts of Game Making?
Motivation: Sticking to the project at hand and ignoring my muse whispering greater, better, grander ideas. I have a hard time keeping to any one project and will often start 'side-projects' that eventually take over... only to think of another 'small' idea that takes over... a never ending cycle for me, it seems. <sigh>
Games that are popular but you haven't played
I only play RPGs and only have a PS2/X and Snes, so no shoot'em ups, racing, sports, horror ect. No Kingdom Hearts, either. I tried it once and I got sick from the colours and rotating camera angles. Oouuh.
Yeah. Just good (and a few not good - Unlimited Saga, anyone?) RPGs.

You get used to the heat after a while. Where I live we get 40*C heat one day, 17*C the next and thunderstorms/hail inbetween. Yeah. Weird weather patterns. I don't watch the tenni, but my Mum'd probably sell her kidneys to go to the Open. ^.^

I forgot to add that I'm an Aussie. ^.^ Yeah, squirrel is cool and potnoodle. Those names bring back memories. I'll post those sprites, too, I don't mind sharing my resources. Thanks for the welcome. ^_^

Easiest game you've ever played?
Suikoden V was pretty easy to finish. Just took a long time to get to the end. Enjoyable, though. All the Suikodens are actually pretty easy to beat, probably because the level-up system is so great. Love that system to death.
Yeah, Mystic Quest was pretty easy. Still fun, though.
FFX. I dunno, I quit somewhere around getting to Zanarkand, then my memory card crapped out on me and I haven't bothered since. To be fair, that was about my fifth playthrough. That game just doesn't like me for some reason.

I'm Rebecca Liberty - yeah, it's my middle name - currently 25. I'm trying to finish of a Diploma in Professional Writing and Editing but they keep adding more and more modules and it's so much fun that I don't see an end soon. I was working in a car seat factory, but they needed to get rid of over half their employees and I was one of the 'chosen'. Now looking at another factory job, but whether or not that pans out is another thing altogether.
I love reading and gaming and that's what I do in my down time. I've got four younger brothers and a sister. My younger cousin also lives with us (yeah I still live at home. Mum needs the help) and he's the coolest 14-year-old I've met.
I'm currently writing a fantasy novel, though it's not going very fast, and have started numerous RPGs in the past, only to leave them behind in the excitement of a new idea. I began gaming with 'Choose Your Own Adventure' books and kept it up from there. My current obsessions are manga, anime and good RPGs. Oh, and surfing the internet.
RM history? I began with RM95 in about '96-97, tossed that in for the PSX version for a while, then met RM2K and have been stuck on it since. I've only just begun to go to the 2K3 side (which I consider the dark side -_-;). Hm.
I was originally an RPG2KNET goer, but had an unused account at GW since 2003. After a while I found CW/EG and stayed there until it's collapse (although my posts were few adn far between towards the end due to internet problems.) I then returned to GW and have stayed there since. Just found this site today and it looks pretty good, so I'll probably lurk for a while and post when I find an interesting topic.
Yeah.
I'm also a huge supporter of RTP. Any dissing of it will probably result in my proving my point with screens, so just don't bother. ^.^ I kid.
