For over 12 years, I have been creating my own video games and art. I started out by creating games on Microsoft Powerpoint believe it or not and then graduated to Rpg Maker and eventually to more advanced engines such as Construct, Unreal Dev Kit, and Game Maker. I have mastered Adobe Photoshop over the last several years and have become proficient in using Blender. I have a passion for creating, learning, and now teaching =]

@Krysty: I love ff8 so your screen is already a fav in that regards, but it looks really nice keep up the great work.
@Tau: I love your screens, I'm a big fan of the graphic style you are using, can you tell us a bit more about the game and the screen shots?

Community Contest: Map and you could win $25 and other prizes
Hey Kentona, sadly no one even entered =/ So anyways I appreciate all your help regardless. Thanks to everyone else as well who were supportive, I do wish people had given it a chance but I'm ok with the way it turned out. I'll continue to provide free tutorials and graphics on my blog as well as my fb and youtube page for those following me. Perhaps we'll do another contest in the future, I'm unsure right now given the response to this one but anything is possible.

@Clareain: Thanks so much, I didn't even realize the sound effects might be annoying until you mentioned it and watching it afterwards, I have to kinda agree with you =] I'll tone down the emote sound effects in my future projects, thanks again!

@Ghost: That screen looks sick!
This is a place of respite for lost souls.
=========SPOILER=========
The being that Shiva talks about towards the end is actually you, the player. A lot of people didn't even catch this when the map was released but now you know!

@ Chana and Avee: Thanks! Yeah it's a third person as Avee pointed out but you can actually do an fps in 2k3 if you're clever and patient. Though it's a lot easier in xp and vx =]

@Essenceblade: Wow, what a nice compliment! Thanks so much. Project FI eventually become a defender type game. It was going along but my major issue with it was lag. I had implemented systems in it where day and night affected not only various screen tints but also lighting and shadows on the floor. Couple that with moving water on the maps and random weather effects, an abs battle system, and a 2000X2000 map with all the inner locations, cave, forest, and town in the single map and you set yourself up for a lot of struggle. The rm2k3 engine just couldn't handle it as well as I wanted it to so I took some concepts from the game and the graphical style and began working on Eden Gate. It's a brand new story but it does even more than I ever did in FI and lags a whole lot less ;)

@Lockez: Thanks man, it's not too hard to do, I believe I was one of the first few to pioneer that style in the rpg maker community and over time I developed it..especially through watching ps1 and ps2 rpg games and trying to emulate them. I created several tutorials on how to get that look as well, many written even more video. You can actually find some on my youtube channel if anyone wants to see how it's done. I don't have any up on how to create all the 3d stuff but I have graphics packs up on my blog and show you on video how to use those to get the same look. Anyways I'll probably do a video tutorial on the isometric graphics down the road soon.
