What's a decent laptop for simple game-dev and pixel art?

My two cents are to value construction over power. It's really pain to have a clunky laptop and with this budget it won't be 'need for speed' machine anyway.
FullHD display is quite a deal when doing graphics too. I find some 14 inches as an ideal compromise between dispaly's size and portability.
And yeah a poteto with a hardrive should be able to run aseprite and pyxel.

Curiously i have a harder time doing pixel art with my tablet than i do with my regular mouse.
Using a tablet is more ergonomic for the wrists, right? Thinking about it, isn't it a lot harder to hit individual pixels using a tablet? A lot of pixels tend to be pretty small. xD
It's possible that tablets work well for artists that have experience with drawing, though.

Do you have a set color palette in mind for the graphics? I'm not the best pixel artist, but I may be able to help you out with a few tiles.

I don't plan to do anything in 3D for a good while. It doesn't really interest me as much as 2D does. xD
I've never drawn pixels with a stylus before, and I don't think I'm going to use anything other than a mouse for pixel art ATM because of technique and muscle memory, but I might look into a different style in the future.

Pretty nifty start, Arc! Some areas in the top part look a tad empty ATM. I'm not a fan of how the castle is just...so gray. Some more colors would definitely be nice!
