What's a decent laptop for simple game-dev and pixel art?

Thanks for the ideas, everyone! I'll try to come up with a decision this week.

Betwixt

The game we've all been waiting for. Looking forward to try this out, mate!

Yeah, it's all those little things that count. Lately, I've been starting to realize how much life animations can add to a game in terms of atmosphere. Definitely something that seems worth the work IMO.

Some quick tile-set improvisation. I'm not too happy with this one, but I feel like showing it anyway, just in case there's something I didn't think of. I do enjoy playing around with odd-ish color combinations, though.

Hmm, that's really strange. I'm also Windows 7 user and I just tried it and it worked as intended. Just to make sure that we're on the same page, you did download the full version of the game, right?

Also, do you have the VX (NOT VX Ace) RTP installed on your PC? A lot of people mistake the two for being the same program/engine.

In case you haven't installed the RPG Maker VX (NOT VX Ace) RTP, here's a link: http://www.rpgmakerweb.com/download/additional/run-time-packages

Scarlet Twilight - Saturday Update #01 [June 17th]

Ah, I see your point. Maybe I'll give tablets a shot sometime in the future.

Hollow Project

You guys still working on this?

Looks great, Momeka. Are you using a specific palette for this or do you just add colors as you go?
