I'm going to parrot Solitayre for a moment and ask why was this was not submitted as an actual review?

Let's not assume that the front page review necessarily reflects the opinion of the entire staff. It's just the accompanying review to go along with the feature.

You (presumably) didn't pay a dime for the RPG Maker 2000 program, used Dragon Quest music, blatantly inserted tilesets from commercial games and somehow had the gall to cite it all as your intellectual property? Look Dustsoft, I'm not trying to pick on you here but there are some significant issues with your project at its core.

I'm not sure if this is a bigger embarrassment to yourself or RMN in general. It's clear we've failed the site letting something like this be venerated and I'm going to apologize to everybody in advance.

This is a very good looking project. I am glad to see there is still a lot of talent taking old engines like RPG Maker 2003 seriously.
