*spins around and falls back on the floor* wow... things got so serious sense i last posted..... good to know i'm not as big a troll as i thought i was...

Anyhow, here is the thing about this game... you can't copywrite a sprite style, graphics styles can't be copywriten, so this game could be sold after dropping the FF title.
Their were quite a few games on the snes that used very similar styles to the FF games.. so i would be surprised if Squeenix said anything over the game once you drop all the final fantasy related things.

This is cool and all, but as mentioned before... the coding is a barrier... i can't script in ruby, i sure as hell can't code in C or C++..
I myself have to wait on others to make things, and some things still don't get made.

I have suggested scripts to be made for RMVX Ace, and all the script ideas got blown out the water by know it alls telling me every reason why my ideas are useless... ugh.. after that episode, i dropped out of using RMVX Ace, and went back to XP.

I think the best thing about ACE is the fact that you can use OGG for music, thus having better sounding music with loop points... i wish XP had that, but it does not.
Felipe, i think they have a composer... if it's the same music the project had when it was being made for XP.

My biggest problem with ACE was the auto tiles and how they only use like.. 4 32 by 32s, where as XP had like.. 3 32s by 3... and i could make much more rounded tiles with ease... in ACE it's more of a chore cause of the intended Dragon Quest style that enterbrain wanted in it.. do you think it's going to be a challenge to work within some of the restrictions that ACE has over XP?

And sorry for all the questions... just curious about how things are for people... too much curiosity honestly.

So will the game change much graphically now that it's being made for RMVXA?
I'm just curious.
I tried using ACE and i just wanted to shove my head through a wall lol.
The lack of layering and Priorities just really bugged me.
The tiling system is a pain to.
Do you think it might be too difficult to do what you did in XP for this game in ACE?
Mapping and so on i mean.

I could see how that would get annoying.. i'm still using XP.. but it seems to work fine for me... but then again my PC is a beast.. so i worry about my game lagging for others where as it does not lag at all for me.

God.. i would love to know how some things were done with this game script wise.. just the little things... i could not get help from him.. he's gone to this thing.. where unless he get's paid.. Atoa does not wanna do anything for anyone else.. ugh

When did this game switch over to RMVXA?
It was RMXP.
Also, is the game still being worked on?
Also.. i played the XP demo not long ago.. i was wondering how some things were scripted, little things like how the players would do their... pause and their... um.. how do i say this.. readying stances and then moving casting and so on, i heard the game was using a battle system by Atoa.. i'm trying to use that system to.. but sadly i can't wrap my head around how to do casting animations and having them wait and do the stances and so forth... lol.

Why is "The Legend of Zelda A Link to the Past" such a great game?

For me it's just the story, and the Dark World dynamic.
Switching back and forth between worlds, how doing things in one world effects the other world.
Also the music is just damn awesome in my opinion.
Plus it was the first zelda to have a pretty big plot to it and story, the past games had a story, but ALTTP just played out better.
