What's the new Featured Game?

Not to diminish the love for Eyes Without a Face that's out there, but didn't MANOS: Hand of Fate win that contest by actually finishing on time?

Then again, since I played neither game, I should probably keep my mouth shut!

Re-release of Chapter 2!

Sorry for the double-post put my web browser is really funky today. I want to edit the above post to alter the unnecessarily bold text, but... ugh!

For example purposes, this is how I've been seeing RMN for the last few days. I'm not quite sure what the issue is though I'm tending to think it's a Java failure.

I've seen RMN without the user-friendly UI before, and somehow the issue resolved itself before, but... no, I have no clue what's going on.

Re-release of Chapter 2!

You mean you hit "New Game" and it started with Chapter 2? No, it's not suppose to do that. Not at all.

Yep, sure enough, I didn't bother to ensure that Chapter 2's auto-start intro didn't happen on a "New Game". Figures!

Strangely enough, I think the game isn't totally technically sequence broken because of this. Going to classroom 2-B should give you the auto-event that you're supposed to get. Not that there's nothing stopping you from getting the beginning sequence after getting Kojiro and Masako to follow you. Man, that would be really backwards!

Anyway, that sounds like a thing I want to fix now rather than later! It probably shouldn't be too long for a fix-reupload. My apologies again.

The Master of Souls

If I'm comprehending you correctly, this game works exactly like Matsumori Days, where an "end-of-chapter" save from a previous version will always lead to a Title Screen, since that is how the event was set up before the new content was thrown in.

Well, from various testing of Matsumori Days, that's how I remembered it working. It's been a while since I bothered to hard-test that theory...

Reavers

Checking out the guide, I think I'd be one of the ones that would take over ten hours to complete, since I know nothing about Firefly. I also don't enjoy notation #2 at all. The way the guide comes off to me, it doesn't sound like this game can be any fun unless the player has at least a bit of lore under his or her belt. And that's just to survive, let alone advance.

If the game works even half as much as I suspect it will, this could be totally unplayable to non-fans. I hope this suspicion eventually proves false, though!

The Master of Souls

Out of random curiosity, if I happen to continue being a lazy bum and still have an Act II save when Act III releases, do you think there's any possibility that I could use that save and just keep chugging assuming I can get off my lazy behind? I think you said something like that when Act II released, but I didn't get far enough in Act I to bother keeping the save.

This screen somehow reminds me I still have practically all of Act II to do because I'm a lazy bum and probably have do get Act III, when it comes due.
