MEGAN_HUNTER'S PROFILE

I'm a 32 year old cartoonist and animator living in Los Angeles. I played around with RPG Maker 95 about a dozen years ago, but these days with VX is the first time I've really used it again. Pull up a seat and say hello! I'm really excited about writing some photoshop tutorials for the site.

When I was looking for an RM site to join, I chose this one as soon as I came across this page. Mr. Mak a Do is really talented but more important than the art, it's easy to tell just from the quality of the About page that a lot of care and dedication is going into this one. Oh and I'll have to pick Jessica over Navine any day...us old broads gotta stick together.

So far the tank character makes fun of him for looking like the Grinch, and also Oscar the Grouch :D That's just a placeholder background I grabbed from somewhere but they'll look pretty close to that.

Castle Chase

Ooo pretty

Still trying to figure out the graphics for the inkblot book. Actually, still trying to figure out the *code* for the inkblot book. It's a lot harder than I thought it would be.

Any game with a whip character is good. Etrian Odyssey, Xenogears, Dragon Quest 8. It's like the mark of quality.

Oh wow another cartoonist! I'm so going to play all these now. I didn't realize there were things that looked like this in the community.

Her eye color works really well with her outfit too. How do you like to do your lips? These days I try to draw the mouth line but only color the lips on my girls because they look too weird with a black outline. I still haven't found a technique I love above the others though; I usually need to make guys or animals so it doesn't come up as often as you'd think.

Right now the summon system is pretty simple, they're just one of the character's spells. You get each of these little Pokemon clock guys with a single spell that's their basic attack, and every time you use it a counter goes up by one. Eventually you unlock more powers per summon, and if certain counters on different summons reach high enough it unlocks a special spell called a Combo Attack. In this case, the pocket watch hypnotizes the enemies to sleep and then the alarm clock wakes them up.

You only ever fight one critter at a time in this game, even with a full party, so normal monster spawns can take a little longer than you're used to.

(That's my testing room in the background, not a real level. We don't have any of the RTP in this particular game.)
