[Poll] Is Final Fantasy 13 trilogy that bad?
I've only played Lightning Returns because it was cheap on sale and supposedly the PC ports of the other two were pretty janky. And it was the only FF game on steam I was remotely interested in trying out anyway...
Although its story was kinda nonsense, I had fun with the timing combat (after setting the camera to zoomed out because the default was too close) and recoloring the different outfits

What Videogames Are You Playing Right Now?
I bit the bullet and started playing through the Mass Effect games for the first time, with a renegade Shepard. Although I'm not really into space stories or shooters, the games turned out to be more fun and accessible to me than I expected :)
I'm sad :(
There are no new ideas, everything's been done, but you could execute your ideas in a different way.
Like, I never knew that my game shared a number of plot beats, character arcs, and even names from Dragon Age 2 until I played that for the first time last year. Seeing all the similarities in one game was demotivating as hell at first, but in the end it did give me some ideas on how to differentiate my game's mage oppression plot from DA2's. (well, in a 'what not to do' kind of way)

Help me with an experiment
As someone who's participated in online experiments and studies for years, I think you'd have better turnout if you can pay people to do this. If possible, maybe post it on Mturk or some other crowdsourcing site so more potential subjects can see it?

What Videogames Are You Playing Right Now?
I played the Berseria demo the day it dropped on Steam because I hadn't played a tales game since Abyss nearly ten years ago, but...I just couldn't get into it. Didn't like the skits or the mascot character's voice (and it didn't even look cute like Mieu), and there was no plot hook to make me want to see more. :/
Then again, I've played very few jrpgs these days anyway. But I got Lightning Returns on sale a while ago and have been playing that. The story's pretty ehh, but I've been having fun collecting the little dressup items and the timing-based combat--once it clicked after unlearning the tighter guard timing I picked up from Metal Gear Rising, haha
