Accelerated World

Wow...just, this was great.

As someone who despises Phantasy Star I-III as a whole, but loves the atmosphere and storyline of Phantasy Start II, this feels like a dream come true.

Thank you Yuna, just thank you!

A Man Called Dungeon

Gratz on finishing it before the deadline, gonna check it out now.

Edit: Odd, the site glitches on me when I click on the download link. Any mirrors perchance?

Beyond Reality (IGMC 2014 Edition)

Just finished this. I played through three games today, and this was the one that I enjoyed. Loved the combat, I loved the characters, and I loved the message behind it. Please, keep making more, because this site can really use some more good rpgmaker vx ace titles.

Antagonist

This is something that I really don't get the appeal.

I didn't get how any of this was funny, it just felt like you were putting in a bunch of references for the sake of putting in references.

The combat was fun...until the last two battles where things went on for way too long.

It also feels like more of a visual novel that wanted to be an rpg, and as a fan of both, I think that you failed on both counts.

Risen

Ok, before I begin, let me say that I have no issues with your personally, and I wish you well.

Just went through this game, it felt very incomplete and well...it was a pretty terrible game overall.

There were a lot of easily fixable issues, like the skeletons making the game crash, and the wife not having 3 clones of herself when she gets out of her bed.

But more importantly than that, this game is such a bland experience. The two worst things about this game are the optional bosses and the dialogue. The bosses arr hard yes, but the hardest thing about them was how repetitive it was, as they take forever to kill. The dialogue itself NEVER funny and it feels like you didn't even care about it in the slightest, and there's no interesting twists on the combat system or creative dungeon design to go with it.

The only thing that I actually liked about the game was the Monster Mash song at the end. Not the dancing that the monsters did, I barely remember it. But at least I got to hear a cool song at the end.

Sorry, but I really think that you should have just left this game buried, and used the time that you spend finishing it to work on something better.

[RMVX ACE] Where are all the 10+ hour long story fouced turn based VX Ace RPGs?

Yeah, I've noticed that there's quite a few non-ace games that qualify.

The big thing that surprises me more than just about anything else is that there seems to be more of what I'm looking for released on RPGMaker 2003 in the last year than there are on every other rpg engine combined.

Seriously, I wanna know why. Is there an issue with VX Ace when you try to make a 40 hour epic?

[RMVX ACE] Where are all the 10+ hour long story fouced turn based VX Ace RPGs?

First of all, this topic is not meant to put down anything that is different from what this topic is about. Please, don't turn this into a a topic where we talk about "how superrpgman hates anything besides this." I just want to talk about something specific here

So I wanted to play a completed project that's serious and turn based, where plot and characterization take place over combat, and I haven't played a lot of VX Ace projects, so searched through all 8 or so pages of completed projects.

The only thing that I could find that fit that criteria sadly was Incitement 2, which is a just plain GREAT game, but I've already went through it. Literally everything else seemed to be either really short, comedic, or a dungeon crawler. Those kinds of games are fine, but it just seems so odd that what I'm looking for doesn't exist.

Are there really no others? If so, why is it that no one has completed anything under the engine like this?

Does anyone know why this is the case?

Final Fantasy 7 Demake

I'll give it to you straight, and offer you some constructive criticism.

This project as it stands is DOA. Square Enix will be sending you a cease and desist letter as soon as it's anywhere close to release.

Here's what you should do instead.

Gather a small, dedicated team of game makers who have completed at least one game before, so you know that they have enough dedication, swear each other to secrecy, and work your asses off to finish thie project, and then have your whole team beta test the game yourselves, and then release it completely anonymously to every website that you can. Square Enix can stop you from making a game, but if it's already complete and on the internet, all they can do is try to stop websites from hosting it, and you know that that'd be impossible to do for every website out there.

Don't remake this because you want recognition for it. Do it because you want this game to exist.

I desperately hope that you take my advice, as I would looooooove for this project to complete itself. You would open the door to other game designers completing remakes like this.

Please Jin, Max, and Trihan, be an inspiration!

So tell me Kuken, why should ANYONE pay attention to you when you just ignore all criticism, and show zero desire to improve as a developer?
Wow... Where did that come from?

It comes from the fact that whenever I, or anyone else who doesn't like your work, you just ignore it. It shows that you truly have no desire to improve, and just want people that blindly love a project of yours.

That's why I asked you what I ask again, Why should anyone take you seriously?
