Love the game balancing where I need to be careful which type of monster I pick to fight and also the limited source of healing items, adding strategy challenges. Managed to defeat the Heavy Metal Girl and reached the end of the demo.
Also I am suprised that RPG 20XX can reach this far now. It's been a while.

Try right clicking the project folder in the map tree and doing it from there. When doing a new map from the program menu, it will become a child of the currently open map (the default blank "World" map in this case).
I tried it again. It really does. So, it will create child depends on the current opened map.
So, it is not possible to create child from "<Project name>" folder right now.
Also found a bug. When I deleted the "World" map, then I created a map again, it crashes and when I opened the project, the project is empty. Almost all the files in the project are deleted including the asset files in the project.

One I invent. It's important for it to be an easy click-together one just like RPG Maker 2000 / RPG Maker 2003. Requiring no typing or messing with actual scripting languages is a very important requirement for RPG 20XX.
How about custom scripting? :)

Also, you can draw using the upper tiles, enter event mode, and right click marquee select those tiles to make a multiple tile event out of them.
I tried it. It really works.
That would be convinent for bigger map :).
0.05 Released
Finally tested the 0.05 update :D.
So far, didn't find any bug about the event dialogue.
Also, about the event, just a suggestion adding square to the middle of the event box to make it easier to see just in case of crowd event tiles.
Btw, found some bugs:
- When creating a new map, the new map is under "World" map instead of "<Project name>" folder event if I selected the "<Project name>" to create the new map.
- The "E" icon for event is overlapped below shrunk tile event (like the magma tile in the screenshot)
Btw, a question what programming language will be used for scripting?
Also, good luck with the next stage \ :D /

Such Event
So, the event is based on tile.
After seeing it... how about event based on tile rectangle (you make an abstract transparent square tile, also keep the arrow at the corner of the rectangle to indicate where the start and the end are)? That way you can applied an event square and combined rectangle.
Also.... yay for progress update! \ :D /
Good luck for the next progress! \ :D /

Yay a closer progress for the next update \ :D /
For unambiguous way, that E icons seems enough. Especially there won't many tiles with that shape in rpg (also give some alpha value). If not, it can be updated in the next update.
About YAC, how many cores (cpu) and ram did you use for mining?
--edit:
I just realized that the YAC wallet screenshot has gone.

With my video cards, between 5 mLTC and 7 mLTC (mLTC = 0.001 LTC) a day (this is the bottom line after pool-x.eu takes their 3% share plus my voluntary 2.5% donation on top of that). LiteCoin has been around since like 2011. It's steady, but late to the party.
I've noticed the author of cudaminer himself created a YAC address. YAC coins look like they can still be mined with just your CPU (though you should still use cudaminer). I'll look into those.
I just said "fuck it" and have all three (BTC LTC and YAC) addresses on the front page. I figure the author of cudaminer might know which crypto coins are worth having donation addresses for. I'm going to see how much and how fast I can mine YACs.
This way you also don't have to bother with the shady exchanges and can just directly send whatever coin.
Thanks for the information, so they are around 5 to 7 cent (with 1 LTC=$11).
Maybe I will find them from donation or commission xD.

As for the RPG 20XX editor, I finished the event editor dialog. I just need to add the event create and event edit commands to the map view. I also added the three addresses to the editor under the about dialog.
Yay \:D/
Nice update. Will try to find the bug again ;).

Yeah, I know a PayPal donate button is easy, but I'm interested in actually studying these coins and why exactly do they even have value in the first place. I've actually learned a little about economics and a little more about the nature of cryptography.
I wish I could use my paypal balance to help, but my paypal account got closed long time ago without reason (they only told me about suspicious activity which at that time, I really don't do anything suspicious). Also, after googling my case, there were a lot of persons who had the same fate as me. Oh well... xD
So, cryptocurrency is another choice now to try xD.
I haven't used them early that time because I want to know more how much popular they are used for transaction.

After more surveying, it does look like mining coins is the easiest and safest way to obtain them, but it takes a long time. You will need a CUDA card (any high-end nVidia will do). You'll then need cudaminer for it. Cudaminer will mine all sorts of coins, so you can also mine one type of coin (YAC for example) and exchange it to LTC.
Do you mine them too? if yes, how long exactly to get certain amount of ltc?
