SHOW ME YOUR SCREENSHOTS - Fall Edition
That is actually how they are in Symphony of the Night. I think it's fine, since the scene is coming from a different perspective (the trees are farther away).
You could edit it but you just need to finish the game. Go go Nightblade.

When starting over I had remember neophyte's advice I hadignored due to lazinessoverlooked earlier and took special care to align icon and the text, something a lot of people apparently overlook.
;)
I'm loving the health and magic glyphs. In fact, that whole screen is...flawless.

I liked how the first one still shows the map behind the menu, it was easier on the eyes. I hope you do that with the new version.
Add a shadow to the text and possibly fix the gradient inconsistency and it will be good. =)

Dawn's Light
It may only be October, but I feel confident that Dawn's Light is the best independent game release of 2009. It's so good that I wish it were possible to see a DS or WiiWare port of it. Dawn's Light‘s greatest point is the wonderful script and writing

I actually played the game for about 5 minutes. It's not good but congrats on this guy on selling game. I'm sure Amaranthia helped his sales a bit. Though I find it mind blowing that the trailer does not show the combat of the game at all.
I've also noticed these games are getting rushed to the market faster than ever now because people are noticing how easy it is to make quick cash. This is probably why they are lower quality but I'm sure they don't mind.
Articles: Why they are neglected and what you can do about it.
I have no ideas but I like articles and I have many planned in my head. I don't really like requests though because the request might be something you have little knowledge of.
Also, I think in-game tutorials work very well too. Instead of explaining how something works through text, there is always the option of showing how it's done through an example game. Just an idea for some of you.
oops I just realized I said I have no ideas and then gave an idea. How smart of me.

Wow, I can see why you dumped it. Not to be rude, but it was very messy when I opened it up in RM.
At least you know what not to do now. You're really talented and I hope you continue to make games. Just don't be overambitious and stay organized. It seems like you lost direction and became stressed at a certain point.
I liked what was there, so please make more games. =)
