OZZYTHEONE'S PROFILE
I'm a student from Paraguay that likes to design and play a lot of games.
Having said that, I've also made sprite animations in the past and I'm still doing some when I have time.
Update: I haven't made sprite animations in ages lmao

What would you people recommend to do to come up with a name for a game? My naming skills are below mediocre. What should I be looking out for when namimg a game?
Do Broken Toys Go to Heaven?
This really sparks my interest. That ominous "what you learn cannot be unlearned", and the title itself, really makes me wanna play this!
Are you still working on this?

AND UNDERTALE IS GREAT WHY WOULD YOU APLOGIZE
I apologized because the Undertale fandom is sometimes labeled as very... obsessive, and therefore disliked immediately. That being said, I do think I'm a little obsessed with Undertale myself.
[RMVX ACE] How can I make the game screen bigger/show more stuff?
Thanks pianotm, but I'm trying to avoid entire script systems made by other people. I know that they can do amazing things, but knowing myself, using other peoples scripts would encourage me not to better my own scripting skills and I can't have that. Specially not if I want to be a full fledged programmer in the future!
[RMVX ACE] How can I make the game screen bigger/show more stuff?
Thanks for the fast response Mirak and I'll try to google easy stuff like this before asking in the forums. It really felt as if this question was too easy to be asked here.
Also, I love how you constantly change your avatar, in my opinion it gives your avatar more personality.

[RMVX ACE] How can I make the game screen bigger/show more stuff?
As the title already says, I'm trying to find out how to make the game screen bigger. To be more exact, make the game show a screen bigger than 544x416. I'm well aware that it can be done, I just don't know how to do so. What scripts would I need to edit to alter the dimensions of the game screen?
On a side note, is it OK if I just keep asking for help here, instead of searching for any tutorials first? I'm slowly starting to feel like a prick for constantly asking for help without having searched for a solution on my own beforehand.

author=Dudesoftauthor=MadJak91Haha, my Stupor Heroes were started when I was in Grade 5. For some reason, I've kept the huge eyes, because when I draw them 'normal' they just look weird... I'll post some other characters tomorrow.
Dem eyes, lmao :D
Define 'normal', because those giant eyes don't exactly scream 'normal'.
[RMVX ACE] How can I round up/down variables?
author=GreatRedSpirit
The square brackets after round should be parenthesis, square brackets are for an array dereference, parenthesis are for passing parameters, so:$game_variables[x].round(y)
or$game_variables[x].round
if you just want to do normal rounding with the decimal value. Here's the rubydoc's documentation on rounding.
Thanks Undyn... err, GreatRedSpirit, now that that script call is working appropiatly and the variables are rounded the right way, my stealth system works!! ^.^ I'm so happy! Thanks to all of you guys! Without you I would be at a loss, I can't wait to finally make progress with my next game, I had been stuck on creating the stealth system for 2+ weeks now.
Now I will also have a reason to make the game page.
[RMVX ACE] How can I round up/down variables?
Thanks Pianotm. I arleady know that trigonometry tutorial very well, someone recommended it to me some time ago and it has been very helpful for what I'm trying to achieve.
Thanks Kaneshon, but those scripts sadly don't help me.
This one doesn't even work, it always turns the variable into a zero. Maybe I'm doing something wrong.
This one just takes away the decimal part, put I want to round up/down acordingly, like so: 1.5 = 1 ; 1.6 = 2

$game_variables[x].round[y]
