Let's play 'guess where this is'

Hello from RPG Maker Web forums!

I was summoned by the power of Kingdom Hearts avatars.

...I actually want to change mine but dancing Squall and Cloud is just so hard to give up...

ANYWAY welcome to RMN! Post lots =w=)b

No offense intended, but I think stigmatising the way people react and behave is idiotic and another sign of how utterly suppressed our society is.

Feel free to get excited about something- but only to a certain degree or you're an embarrassment.

I didn't do this when I watched the KH3 announcement trailer but I'm pretty fricken excited. I did run around the house and tell everyone KINGDOM HEARTS THREEEEEE. I have done this with many things. If I'm watching or reading something in a series I might do it once a week.

It's normal for me, but my whole life I've been told not to get so excited over things. Why? Why can't I be hyper-super-duper excited to the point where I'm screaming my lungs out because I want it right now and I want to play it consistently for three days without sleep? Why can't I be crying in unsuppressed joy because someone wrote an amazing fanfiction about my favourite pairing which was beautifully written and had glorious smut? Because society says so? Fuck that.

I'm gonna scream and cry and run around like a headless chicken, dammit. Some people don't, some people do, but I don't think we should be judging either party because of how they enjoy what they enjoy.

Using Final Fantasy Music for a Final Fantasy type game?

You mean the Beatrix battle theme when you say 'sword of confusion', right? guuhh why does that track have so many damn titles?

Depends on what kind of pace you're going for battle-wise. Pandemonium could work nicely, despite it not being a traditional battle theme. Been a while since I listened to the soundtrack...ho hum.

The darker tunes are your best bet, I'd say.

Though I'd still recommend looking into Newgrounds or one of those artists who've posted music for non-commercial use rather than using FF music but hey it ain't my game.

Using Final Fantasy Music for a Final Fantasy type game?

People will always associate FF music with FF, so unless you're doing an actual prequel-sequel-spinoff, it's going to kill immersion since the players will only be thinking of FF9, not your game.

This goes for sound-effects, too; there's nothing more jarring than playing a game and then suddenly hearing the FF7 limit break sound.

Today's my birthday.

You:
"Happy birthday to me!
Happy birthday to me!
I'm so fu***king angry!
I'll slaughter all thee!"

Me:
"Happy Birthday to you!
Happy Birthday to you!
If that's what you wanna do,
I'll slaughter you too!"

Ever had those teachers who hate you for no real reason, and won't help when you're struggling? Add the fact that Lex has dyslexia and is obscenely bad with maps and Geography in general. The teacher and him have a really poor relationship and Lex does keep digging holes for himself by not doing it, but he does try, which is why Jackson tends to be forgiving in this instance. Tries to copy Math, though, and he'll get socked square in the jaw.

Friends are great, aren't they? XD

Doing some groundwork for a future game. You can select the options with either your keyboard or your mouse. It might have an adventure/RPG element to it as well, we'll see.

Populate it with plenty of interactable NPCs. Trains stations are busy places.
