[RM2K3] Which title screen do you prefer?
Would I get away with putting the old style of text on the new title streen? I ask because Steel Spirit SaGa isn't something I'm making just for me, it's a thing I want to share with the folks on thi site, and thus I want to tailor the project to what everyone else would prefer and not what I prefer... does that make sense?
[RM2K3] Which title screen do you prefer?
So I'm looking at the title screen to Steel Spirit SaGa, and I had an idea to change it, and I'm wondering which of the two title screens people prefer.
This is the new title screen (the picture at the bottom changes each time you load the game up.)

What are you thinking about? (game development edition)
Auto attack... I totally forgot about that... Well, I'm a way off working on the combat, so I've got time to look at other possible avenues.
What are you thinking about right now?

I'm thinking of a way to spice up the battle system for Solitaire Unravelling because I'm trying not to use magic, or any item that teaches magic. Instead the characters have a set of skills. I was thinking they could either just learn their skills as they gain in levels, or I was thinking each time your character attacks they gain AP, which can then be used to 'learn' the skills when they gain a set amount of AP.
If anyone's got any other ideas I'm all ears.

A simple question [RM2K3]
A simple question [RM2K3]
So I use RPG Maker 2003. And The two games I have planned, both use ripped graphics. Is this ok? I mean, I have no intention of making money from my games, as it's more of a hobby to distract myself from the more depressing aspects of my life. But I recall seeing somewhere that ripped graphics are considered taboo. I mean, I am no spriter, yeah I can do edits here and there, but to make everything from the ground up, I'm just not skilled enough to do so. Should I basically give up because my only redeeming quality is story writing?
