Screenshot Survival 20XX

@Luchino: I love the colours in those screenshots. They look awesome.

The latest dungeon I'm working on.

Whatchu Workin' On? Tell us!

Just working on Steel Spirit SaGa, currently in the middle of a major boss encounter, which marks the half way point in Zach's scenario.

And working on a few chipset edits that will accomodate the less conventional dungeons will be introduced later on.

I can assure you no. Maybe... possibly... we'll see :P Thing is, a lot of folks hated that chapter. but I loved it, and when in the writing process I decided that this was to be a SaGa Frontier 2 sequel. I just had to have this city in there. (plus in the Gustave and the Pirates chapter, it does appear that the city is on the sea trading route.)

The entire city was painstakingly replicated from a map in SaGa Frontier 2, albeit with certain alterations due to the limitations that tile based mapping has.

GameDevTip: fill yourself with self-loathing to become a more effective dev

I'm full of self-loathing anyways XD

I was hoping to use refmap throughout the entire game, but with some of the later dungeons I might have to break that rule.

yes thanks for pointing that out.

[RM2K3] Tilesets

First off. I'd like to apologise for asking so many questions on here. I feel like I'm clogging up the forum with my crap.

Sedony. With Steel Spirit SaGa, I tried to stick to using Mack and Blue tilesets, in an attempt to create some sort of consistency in the game. However, there are some dungeons that can't be achieved using all Mack and Blue, do I try and make do with what I have with a few edits here and there, or do I start using different tilesets?

And please don't tell me to switch to VXAce or XP or something, as much as I'd love to. I've invested too much in the RM2K3 to switch everything over.

Post a fun fact... about yourself!

Bionicle is freaking awesome!

1- My cat has a tendency to sit on my shoulders.
2- I don't drink fizzy drinks.
