Horror Genre in RPG Maker

Reading this has given me hope for the RMXP horror game I wanted to make. I got the monsters, main character, story sorted out and everything. I just stopped before I even started because there seems to be a stigma attached to RPG Maker horror games.

Just watched The Maze Runner... not sure what to make of it.

The idea behind it was pretty good, I think the execution was a bit lacklustre.

What do you think of when you hear "RPG Maker"?

In regards to Steam... Terra Incognita -shudders- In every other aspect "Hey, at least I'm not the only person who uses it."

If you constantly praise them, they'll never be able to accept criticism, the worst thing you can do is say someone's art work is good when it's not.

I was thinking. Before I decided that I was going to work on Steel Spirit SaGa again, I started work on another game called Solitaire Unravelling. So far it's the intro and 4/5ths of the starting city, do I release it, or wait until I have something more substantial?

This game knows what it's doing. And uses the sprites properly.
