Picturing how would be an RMN Convention in real life...
As soon as I need to make a stopover in Saskatchewan I'm driving right to Kentona's house and sitting on his lawn until he fights me. How that for an RMN Meet?
In all seriousness I'll be living in Toronto soon, so it would rule if there was an RMN meet after that since it'd be way easier to make it there from the centre of the country.

AN RMN con would be an interesting idea. But I have the feeling it would somehow end horrifically. Either that or it would be such a legend that nobody forgot it for the next 100 years of gam mak.
Fast Times at Aremen High: Sign-Ups
Sign me up. I'll PM you a sprite to use, I'm too lazy to separate it from the other sprites which I don't want randys picking up off of this thread and using.
I tend to edit your posts a lot.
Three minites from now the entire site will be endlessly talking about Kentona about how great he is..

Tech Demo VS. 'Real' Demo Release
A standard demo would be around an hour long, judging by the demos of pro games that I've played in my time. If you're making a tech demo, then it'd be smaller- but it would also focus on a particular "killer app" of the game or something, like if Valve made a tech demo showcasing the portal mechanics in Portal.
I know that you can do whatever you want with your demos, but it's advantageous to keep them around that one hour mark, and most preferably to stage them at a point in the game where a lot of the key gameplay would be available. Demos shouldn't start at the beginning of the game, in my mind.

What are you thinking about right now?

My problem with the designs right now is there's only one (rather pathetic if you ask me) Owl.
If they can have a dozen birds, they can have a dozen owls!
There is still no Flamingo Pokemon, much to my eternal annoyance.
No sequels
University is taking up so much time I can't work on any of my projects... Anyone else have things interrupting you often?
How about 14 14 hour worl days in a row every week? That's the kind of thing that interrupts most of your whole life.
