What the hell, let's blog about it

His sprite is cute! Though the only thing I can see that does bug me is his profile walk near his chest. In his front-view walk, the top of his chest area shifts with each step, namely the top of his coat. On the side-view, it does not, even though there should be a little movement. But that's just nitpicky me! I really do like it though.

I love love Julia's new costume. <3 Progress! Yay!

Can you tell me why you had trouble? He should be beatable on level 4 provided you got Snowe his fire spells (one in his room and a cure in the magic hallway), have Astra use her swift slash, and have Hiante keep up with anything everyone else isn't kept up on. Also as long as you use the Child's Cornet and the Scary Mask on it to bring down its stats a bit more (which you should have gotten if you visited your people before you left) it definitely should be beatable.

SSP Demo V.2 for Oct. 27th

Aww, thank you Hasvers! I aimed to get a SNES-era RPG feel so I'm pretty glad it came across. :) Glad you had fun playing.

Final Fantasy Essence Review

And adding this for the not fleeing from random encounters: in any game, if I fail once with running away from a random encounter, I don't try again. Chances are if I'm trying to flee, I'm almost dead and if I lose one more character's turn trying to avoid a battle, I give up escaping. I have better things to do than randomly fail 3-4 times trying to escape.

Star Stealing Prince

Maybe I should put a note on the door! :P Thanks for playing support, demonlord5000.

It was indeed a silent November.

Aww, you're getting busy! But those tiles are looking grand. I can't wait to see them actually. Loving the theme for sure.

I think that even if you release something unpolished, it'll be cool. Just don't be so hard on yourself!

Hey guys

Wait, you say you don't care about the fans anymore but want fan input? O_o

What I like most was how you captured the old-FF feel. You've done incredibly well with that. I still think a lot needs work, but I really feel as though I am playing an FF game (barring a few bugs here and there).

Bug Woes V.2.0

Demondlord: did you ever get an RGSS2.exe crashing error while you were playing? For sure in the demo I know if you open up the item part of the menu a lot, you'll eventually run into it if you don't have the best running computer. If you ever did, I'll see if I can whip up a second demo for you to see if we can test to get the second rgss2.exe crashing error.

Bug Woes V.2.0

Penta: I've been trying to learn more things about Ruby, but I don't think my brain is cut out for this kind of thing! I can sometimes tell when something's wrong in certain areas but when math starts getting involved and a whole slew of programming words I haven't got myself acquainted with I get really confused! But it is on there that I can start to at least recognize some of the things. Right now I do have Diedrupo who has been my go-to guy for all sorts of scripting things that are way over my head. I'm surprised he hasn't thrown me out of a window yet!

If I can't figure this out, I will definitely include the "save often" thing. I know starting the game anew from a load file resets whatever is causing the RGSS2.exe crashing errors so at least there's some solace in that. Thanks for the warm words though Penta, I appreciate it.

Archeia: Yeah when we catch each other online I can go through some testing with you. It'd be wonderful if I could replicate it on command! XD That would make fixing it SO MUCH easier!

Bug Woes V.2.0

Wow Emmych, you're just terrible at getting sarcastic jokes! Besides, I was annoyed that the two scripts were packaged together (the debug one which allows me to find the undiposed windows and the item one I was using), so if Yanfly made them together, it seemed really odd that he didn't find the undisposed windows from his item part of the menu. It was an observation I was making light of, but thank you for showing me the error of my ways. (And really, if you have a problem with me, I'd appreciate it if you would PM me about it because this is a pattern I'm following and I really think you don't like me! So please, if you don't, PM me about it so we can figure out what's going on.)

And Archeia, I haven't yet. Just removing scripts one by one is probably not going to help 100% though because I can't replicate the error (even if I do the same thing each test, it's really random when it actually happens). Sometimes it happens, sometimes not.
