There aren't explorable stuff every single place--I missed a few places haha. But yay! Glad peeps like the little details I put in there. I wanted to make sure the NPCs felt like real people as much as I was able to. And I think I got my problem fixed (unless you happen to be the one I was talking to at another site), but I will check out your reply to see if it helps even more!
SSP Demo V.2 for Oct. 27th
I don't know what causes the RGSS2.exe errors. I can't ever reproduce them so. :( If you can tell me anymore like computer specs and the like, it'd be great. Like did you have too much going on in the background as you played the game, etc. etc. I know one of my beta-testers got it almost every time she got an item, but no one else had that (even from my first demo). So if you can give me more info, that'd be great.
I never play my game full screen (it doesn't work with my screen at all), so if anyone plays it fullscreen and get the RGSS2.exe error, let me know. At least that'll help narrow down what might be causing it.
And that is the oddest error in that house. I don't even know how you got that to show up because in all honestly, there is no reason for a random piece of wood to be there. XD (Edit, ah now I see why--it's how the player goes up the stairs.) Thanks for pointing it out, I'll double check for sure. And now I really wonder WHY none of my beta-testers caught that one! You have to be blind to miss that. XD Sorry about that, Melkino.

NaNoWriMo
I think NaNo is really just to give peeps a date. If peeps usually don't write or their lives are pretty busy, it can be used to say hey, you've had that idea for a while now, use November and get to writing. Granted, you can just do that any time of the year, but I think what helps people sometimes is being in it with a group. You know when you're writing on NaNo, other peeps are doing the same thing and you can go on their forums and talk about it. I think it's more community than anything else for most people.
I know I find myself enjoying NaNo far more when I do it with a group of people as a sort of contest between us. If I didn't have that, I don't think I would bother because I can do that any time of the year. However, having a time to sit down with peeps and write our novels and brag about what word number we're at now and laugh later at how terrible some of our drafts are, it's just fun.
And NaNo isn't really geared to give you a piece of art right away. It's just to get the basic idea down so you know what you have and can continue to perfect it during the year, etc.

How I use YEM to make unstoppable AI bent on world domination.
Ooh that is a nifty idea and a bit common sense haha. But yeah, totally nifty idea. I am still getting the hang of doing that stuff for enemies in my own game so hopefully when I go back to balancing later in the week I can get some ideas on how to make enemies smarter from this.

I need to finish this soon! Anyway, since I never noticed any lag while in the city, when I'm wandering around the world map and getting into battles there, I notice quite a bit of lag. Is that only on my end? It just seemed really random as I've been trying battle a little bit to get essence points.

Ooh I should take notes. I've been wanting to make my enemies smarter. Then again, I'm a bit lazy! XD Do you ever worry about running out of switches to use?
NaNoWriMo
Well, you don't have to listen to the rules of NaNoWriMo. It's supposed to be a NEW project, but pfft. If using an existing project and giving it 50k more words is what you want to do, then you totally can.
And if you have both problems, one should plan the beginning, something in the middle, and then the end. And boom, just fill in from beginning to middle and then from middle to end! It leaves lots of room to make up as you go but still having a goal in mind. :P

I don't really believe in pre-planning, so I have absolutely nothing prepared aside from maybe a brief vignette that came from a dream the other day that I may or may not use as a jumping off point.
The only way writing is really interesting to me anymore is when I don't know what is going to happen next.
And that's very valid! I however can't do that. I wish I could however, I just get stuck if I don't know where I'm going. Though even with a hefty outline, I will meander away from the outline countless times. Without one though, I get stuck right out of the gate because I just plain don't know where I'm going. I need a road map. :|
And Scourge, I did the two years in a row while I was in my last two years of college, which means I had a lot on my plate as well and I was able to do it (and my grades also didn't suffer!). Time management is usually good for these kinds of things.

Haha, well that one was the most glaring! And that's not always a good thing. XD Regardless, it's still fun to play--just one should be careful about characters not acting like themselves.
And if Jessen had an angry pose, he'd be more of a badass. Just this made me laugh haha. It just seemed so off he's looking down and sad and pulls off "bitch" with an exclamation point haha.

Oh I have a poorly written phrase now!

Jessen's face doesn't match what he's saying. Either make him look angry, or perhaps changing what he says (perhaps just "we trusted you..." or something). It just doesn't flow right at all with that face currently.
