Something happened to me last night when I was driving home. I had a couple of miles to go. I looked up and saw a glowing orange object in the sky. It was moving irregularly. Suddenly, there was intense light all around. And when I came to, I was home.

I just did a count, and it seems it's 5-all on the VX vs. XP issue. There a few people that can either way too, and other people who might be interested that haven't spoken up, so I'm sure there's enough interest to get this running.
I'd just like to ask why scripting is being raised as an issue so often here. Are we really going to load up a community game with scripts? I mean, just because you can doesn't mean you should, especially for the sake of everyone being able to work with the engine.
Because scripting is a resource at our disposal just like graphics and audio, so why not take advantage of it? Don't add scripted features for the sake of adding scripted features, but if it improves the game, then it'd be silly to ignore that avenue.

I'll join in an XP chain game. I'll gladly help out with any scripting that needs to be done, as well. I find XP's scripting system a breeze to work with.

By the way, although Regen/Rejuve are useless in the current Act I, they're very useful in Act III, where they heal 10% of your max. It's especially useful in combination with Counter.

I still don't think you'd get much more than one anyways. Plus you'd have to reorganize the main page to do that, etc. We already have problems finding one worthwhile game per month.
Of course there are problems finding worthwhile games; no one ever plays the ones that get completed. That's not a problem with the system, it's a problem with the community.

Why can there only be one featured game? Why not, at the end of every month, highlight some notable games that were completed during that month? That way there's drive for creators to get something done (the prospect of being featured) and there would be less controversy about what game deserved to be featured. Of course, there's still a subjective element (how do you draw the line between what did and did not deserve to be featured), but that's another issue altogether.
